    302 block xxx casting code

i made my comment from my personal experience, the link above makes me think the xxx, yyy... ect is nothing more than a cast code of some sort, not ment for use outside the factory. to identify the production year of your block just look on on of the bellhousing wings as i mentioned also.

thanks, back in the mid 90's when i was building more mustangs i tried to find the numbers on cobra cam and came up with nothing, like it was top secret or something, i was told it was the same cam used in the 86 gt but could not substantiate (i had no internet back then).

    carb electric fuel pump question

yeah near the tank should be fine, just as long as it isnt on the front strut tower (like ive seen in the past). it should be fuse protected but also be on a relay, the procomp stuff seems like a fair quality (i wouldnt be concerned about that), sound like a simple wiring issue... here is a...

So, my wife is wanting me to sell my car...

sell the wife, use the money to fix the car... enjoy! :rlaugh: j/k #2 you need new window regulators. #3 they WILL lock up. the return springs are probably just getting weak form age, the locking device is not related to the spring. #4 try cleaning the IAC.

    302 help.

sounds like the valve is actually burned, at any rate, you need to have a machine shop do a valve job on both heads while you have the motor down. as for trannys, sounds like you are wanting an automatic, the only reason i would use a C-6 is if i was making MEGA power or i had a small block...

    Fuel pressure questions

yep. or a C&L 73... i cant remember the size of the stock meter, but i know its 60 something mm, and you always want it larger than the t-body. if you get a C&L make sure it has the proper sampling tube for the size injectors you have, the PRO-M will have to be calibrated to injector size.
