pics? and talk to the manager directly, bring your car and any before pictures you might have..then find the technician that did your alignment and have him talk to the manager WITH you.... that sucks man i don't think i'd leave without some compensation if they did that to my car..
nice! I couldn't have made it anyway, but there outta be an unwritten rule that all the local car shows should be in the general discussion.. maybe this was mentioned i dunno. Some VERY nice cars though, i can't believe we have cars of that level around here! Thanks for sharing i watched it...
97speedster-what year are the doors?
90stangpony-sounds good, but i hardly ever make it up north, if i do it's to hit the lynnwood and arlington junkyards..
i got one you can have for free, actually 2-3 of em, one from a 79, one from an 82GT, and one from an 86GT..82 has green tint and others are clear. I'm in aberdeen, WA
roller allows you to run a steeper/bigger cam profile, the roller can roll up a steeper incline and drop off quicker than a flat tappet, if you tried to do some of the things with a flat tappet than you do with a roller you'd wipe out the cam.. remember the flat tappet is 2 flat surfaces sliding...
I want the alternator mount.. and doesn't that battery look huge and out of place to anyone? what an ugly POS.. i hope some kid's parents buy it so he can come on here asking what he can do to make it faster, lol
prep it right and use a primer or adhesion promoter.. if it chips you did something wrong and re-prep and paint it again.. get a rattle can of clearcoat to make it shiny. I usually use satin black with a clear over the top and it turns out pretty nice and doesn't fade as bad as straight satin will
i run a single core aluminum with plastic tanks, cools the 351 just fine.. i also have a clutch fan with new parts so that helps. When the coupe goes together it'll have an electric fan hooked up with 2 switches, hi and lo speed.. lo will be on all the time after warm up
makes me wonder why certain parts are blown and other center sections look finr.. ask a machinist? i would deck the head while it's apart and throw on a set of ARP studs, you need to fix the problem before putting it back together or it'll happen again
i've got a performer intake for 100.00.. 300-400 for a new carb, same ones 200-300 used. throw a mechanical HV fuel pump on there, make some new short lines, get a carbed pickup tube, etc.. it can be done much cheaper than you think, i've done it..
