    Overheating/Water issues

If you are running stock heads, I'm afraid head studs aren't necessarily going to fix your issue. The thin decks associated with the heads make them prone to lifting under boost…regardless of bolt type. An FYI, simply using head studs does NOT make them less prone to lifting. The real...

    Lowering 02 GT

I seem to recall not needing a spring compressor at all to do lowering springs on a pre 05 mustang. If you jack the car up and let the suspension hang, the springs will pop out with just a little persuasion from a pry-bar. Actually, found a article explaining just this… Installing Mustang...

    FS: Oil Filter relocator

I don't have the cooler...I was just referencing it as many people pick up this specific reloactor to be able to easily hook it up (great for cooling down hot oil on a turbo setup). I can measure it for sure...but you'll need to keep in mind that the length will be based off of the shorter...

Lets talk audio for a second. (media players)

I use the headphone jack on my phone connected to my cheap Sony head unit (it has a mini stereo input on the front of the faceplate). While it sounds great, I must admit…I don't use it quite as much as plain Jane CD as it's a pain in the ass to change songs and it looks like I'm texting while...

    FS: Oil Filter relocator

Ok, so it actually points the oil filter FORWARD rather than down. Something else that is interesting is...it allows easy fit of the optional oil cooler which came on some explorers. Here is a pic of the cooler (I do not have this) and here is a pic of an explorer motor...

    She's gone!

Surprisingly...not much at all. Being able to daily drive a mustang with AC and the top down trumps the missing power by far! I do however know my place in the food-chain. Going from the top to the bottom is still slightly saddening...but the feeling is slowly fading. ;) Thanks...

    She's gone!

More pics! I traded the wheels seen in the picture (including the balding tires) for a set of nearly new 18x9 and 18x10 chrome Saleens with nearly new tires!!! The total cost....a cool $450, which is less then the cost of new tires I might add!

For those of you that think that is a bargain…I'd like to have some of what you're smoking! $6500 freaking dollars…are you kidding me? Let's not forget folks that you will likely be able to buy a brand spanking new 5.0 Coyote engine for that price. Do you really still think that's a...

    Innovate LC1/XD16 Rant!

Good to hear you got it working. I do agree, it's a huge flaw not including at least a USB adaptor. I will say however, I had no issues when I installed my setup…none whatsoever. I followed the directions 100% to the T (they really are not that complicated) and made sure the grounds were...

    anyone seen this intake manifold?

Take that bitch back! They need to pay for the WHOLE engine and all associated costs to replace it...or reimburse you for the purchase price. With all of the extra costs, you could have purchased a unmolested 99/01 cobra!

    Garage Heating Solutions?

If you plan on doing any type of major work out there on a frequent basis, I HIGHLY suggest looking into a radiant tube heater. The type of heat put off is compared to that of the sun (radiant), and as such…there is no need to heat the air up directly. Instead, all of the objects in the room...

    Megasquirt

Yep, I had a complete MS1 setup on my turbo fox running the high_res code utilizing ls2 COP's in wasted spark (and before that, the stock TFI). It's a great system and provides near endless tenability and near every add-on you could imagine. Learning how to setup everything correctly will...
