Anyone else sick of this part II...

Different Strokes for Different folks... Me, I really don't pay any attention to the "real 'stang" talk. I can have either one, and I *chose* the V6 because it is what I wanted - for all my own personal reasons. The folks that are enthusiastic about their V8s are just having a great time...

    06 Car & wheel pics

I'm on the fence WRT the grille But I do like having fog lamps, and I do like the pony 'n' bars on the front quarter panels. I think I might end up going down to the parts department to snag a pair of the ponies when they start selling them at my dealership...

    silly honda

Honestly, Challenged often. I think it's sad and funny. When I owned my <european import>, I got epithets and threats from lots of male folks on the road. Now that I have a Mustang, I get lots of thumbs-ups and LOTS of rice-r-rocket coffee-can-muffler revving. Funny though, I'm pretty...

How good of a price is this?

Not a good price Even popular cars like the Mustang depreciate quickly (unfortunately). Call around Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston, and maybe Charlotte. There are lots of dealers in and around these towns, and they understand what competition is. Plus, you'd get to go for a nice drive...

Possible legal issues with dealer. Help is appreciated

Any lawyers on the boards? I'm hesitant to give advice that concerns legal stuff. I do know, however, that if you can get in front of the dealer principal of the dealership and give them the opportunity to talk about it, things often work out OK. Most (not all) dealer principals are actually...

    V6 convertible rattles and vibration

Good luck We have had our V6 'vert (a deluxe with factory wheels and tires) at nearly all speeds and it is smooth and fairly quiet. I only get cross-wind buffering with the top material on occasion. I hope your dealership will get you straight - best of luck to you.

Is anyone else sick of this...

Interesting thread... If I don't tell uninitiated people that LBS is a V6, they genuinely can't tell until I open the hood. I like my car. I like the V8s too. I just prefer the V6 for me, personally.

    5 speed noise

I noticed immediately that the manual transmissions made noise. I've been used to front-drive, four-popping, euro cars before, so this was new to me. I drove several Stangs with 5 speeds - they all sounded the same. Actually, I kind of enjoy the noise. With that said, none of us has...

Looking for brake handle and shifter knob

Folks, I'm looking for a wood or leather-covered brake handle cover (and maybe shift knob, too). Anyone have any ideas, links, or thoughts? I really don't want billet parts - they get HOT in our long summer months!

Bullitt Wheels Factory Option on V6 :(

I like some parts of the Pony package. I wouldn't mind if my V6 had the seats and the emblems. I'm not fond of the grille treatment (just a personal opinion, I don't think it is ugly, I just don't like it for me). I DO like having fog lights, but I wish there was some way to have the fogs in...

    Should I Get The Mustang?

Honestly, I think it boils down to something very simple: Which one do you enjoy driving the most? When I was purchasing, I wanted a coupe/vert that stands out, that is fun to drive, and makes me happy with the fit. I had it down to a Mini Cooper S and the Stang - the cars at which I was...

    Simple Question about Red Leather

The red leather on a White 2005 harkens strongly to the beautifully preserved, original '65 fastback next door. I think that's a fantastic combination.

    Poll - Color choice

Old, but still a cool thread I voted for black, of course. Sonic blue is dear to my heart and came in second.

    I think I've decided...

Been there! Here is my take on this. Your mileage may vary, this is just a personal opinion... We bought a V6. I drive almost as much as you do to work - the mileage is pretty OK. The insurance is less money - will be much more so once my son comes online at 16. I really really really...

    350Z or 05 Mustang GT?

The Z didn't fit my 6'5" frame. It was also considerably more that the equivalent Mustang (in our area) V6 Vert. I know the question is between a GT and the Z, but I still bought the V6 Stang for size, quality, and looks.
