    LOL, 400 rwhp is not needed to run low 12s to high 11s. I did it on the stock suspension and stock tires with only 321rwhp. The car was full weight except spare and jack. The back to back runs were 12.22 and 12.26 @ 111+mph. This was a 99 Z28 auto.

    LS1 vs 04GT

    There is a big difference in the 01+ cars and the earlier ones. I have owned both. 99 Z28 auto dynoed 280rwhp and ran a best of 13.80 @ 100.80mph. 01 WS6 6 speed 100% stock ran 13.41 @ 109.46 on a 2.3 60'. That was the only run I have in so far on the car.

    At that weight the car should be close to 12s. With the 3.23 gears it is either a 93 6 speed or a 94-97 auto. Lt4 km increases timing due to the less sensitive knock module, k&n cai adds HP due to the restrictive stock elbow, magnaflow cat back flows way better than the stock Z28 stuff...

    Cobra struck by Lightning on ebay

    I was looking at doing something similar to a GT but, I would use the rear inlet blower from a Cobra so that you do not have that huge piece going over the top. The TB and inlet would be on the side and under the hood.

    It would take the right LS1 to do it and a good driver. I had a 99 Z28 A4 that trapped 101mph for its best trap. The stock 01 WS6 M6 I have trapped 109.46 on the one run I got at opening night at the track. Some are slow and some are quick.

    If you are still getting the faulty IMRC and the cables are activated by the controller (cables go tight) the IMRC plates are stuck.     Hold your IMRC cable covers and have someone rev it over 3200 rpms. You should see and feel the controller pull the cable. If it gets tight but the IMRCs do not open then the IMRC plates are stuck. If nothing happens it is then the electronic controller.
