Thats if it is stock. I went to the track with the SRT group from around where I live. Some are in the 12s and some are at 118mph traps. I haven't seen many stock ones around.
why do ls1 owners have the "holier than thou" attitude? I'll race you, leave your T/A and then wait for u and do it again and again. My car is slow to, only traps in the 117mph area, how about urs?
Speaking of attitudes.
Check his sig. He probably runs closer to you than you think...
GT03, you are the biggest hypocrite. Take a look at the BIG FAKE HOODSCOOP on your car. This is the descrimination that is called Riceist, its O.K. on your car because it is American made but it is Rice if it is on an imported car.
They are like a box of chocolate. Some run 13.8s @ 100mph and some run 12.8s at 110mph stock (very rare). I've seen both. If anyone is looking at purchasing one you have to drive them. It's crazy how much variance there is.
The other day I raced a 00 GT (Spring edition with the two stripes on the hood?) in my 01 WS6. We started from half way through second (35mph) and I gave him the kick. He put a half car on me with the kick but at the top of second (70mph) I had pulled past and to a car lead and shifted to third...
All depends on the car. When I had my 99 Z28 with exhaust, intake and a 3200 converter it ran 12.2s on the stock street tires @ 111+mph. I have a 01 WS6 6 speed I just picked up in December for $15,900. I don't have any times on it yet. 99 Z28s can be had for 11-13K.
Depends on what exhaust means. Also if it has a lid it will have a filter. If it has those two it probably has the free mods etc. Exhaust could mean a cutout or it could mean long tube headers, offroad y/X-pipe and true duals/catback/cutout.
Sell it now before the end of the year. After December the car will be 8 model years old. Banks will only loan out to 7 years so the value will most likely drop a lot if you wait due to the difficulty in a person getting a loan for it. I sold my 97 last Friday.
Back in 97 I had a C4 Corvette and I had picked up a supercharger and brackets. I had to fab up my own plumbing for the intercooler and the intake. Well, the way the supercharger sat it was partialy in the fenderwell and partialy under the hood. After getting it all buttoned up I was scared to...
