    horrible ticking sound?

Is it consistent with the idle speed, speeding up when you rev and slowing down when you let off? Do you have aftermarket headers? Have you checked for an exhaust leak? Mine had a horrible tick like that and it turned out to be an exhaust leak, some new Fel Pro header gaskets and Stage 8...

Are the shift kits worth getting?

You would have to ask that, wouldn't you. To be honest, the shop that rebuilt my tranny 6 years ago had one so I had that installed along with the rebuild. I do not recall what model/part# it is. I do remember that it was less than $100.

Are the shift kits worth getting?

I've had no problems at all with my B&M shift kit and it really woke the AOD up.

Still need some advice on my next mod

Hmm.....well, honestly I dunno what to recommend next then. You have all the stuff that comes to mind immediately (a lot of the stuff that's on my list). Maybe just start saving for a supercharger.

My (new) 89 GT in Indiana

Sweet car!! What a sleeper! You will probably get a lot of people telling you to drop it, get new wheels, etc., etc. I think it's awesome as it is, great buy.

    19 or 20's for my 05

I think that 19's or 20's would look great on an '05, those huge fenderwells need to be filled up. As said before, just be careful in your wheel selection so you don't make it look like a pimpstang. I don't have a link to it, but if you guys have seen that BF Goodrich ad, they have some...

Some info on you guys, probably been asked before

I'm Bryan, I'm 31 (yes, an old guy) and a banker/loan officer. The mod list in my head is endless..........literally. Of course being an older guy with responsibilities other than my car (which has been for last couple years a fair weather only toy) like house payments, wifes car payments and...

    90 limited vs 98 cobra

Ford made orange '93 verts? News to me. I have seen the yellow(w/ white or black top&int, chrome ponies), white and red (both with white tops/int/ponies) limited edition verts but never an orange one. Whachutalkinboutwillis?

    lightning motor in a fox?

Wrong. If ordered so by the lender, any modifications made must be swapped back to the condition the truck was in when the loan was made. Mods (anything other than factory stock) actually lower the vehicle value as far as lenders are concerned, unless they have a buyer lined up for the vehicle...

    1979 mustang GT makeover

no problem. unfortunately that site does not offer a picture of the '79-'86 air dam but I am 99% sure that it looks like the '87-'93 model that is pictured. really expected it to be harder to find and cost more-but it'll probably be $300+ shipped.

    1979 mustang GT makeover

I see that a previous owner has replaced the body sail panels with the 87-93 glass sail panels. Good find on the orignal 4 cyclinder VIN, definitley save on insurance where you can. My first stang was an '85 (4 eyed) and I love the way it looked, wish I still had it today. My vote is to keep...

My Paint job is getting too emotional, Im torn between Black and Red! Help me!

Your car is black now so I don't need to tell you how difficult it is to keep a black car looking clean-especially without a garage, you have to wash the mf'er like every 4 days!! I'm sure switching to red will be more expensive because it is a color change and a more extensive painting process...
