    Break in...do you break in a new clutch when you buy a new car? :shrug: There was a guy at the drag strip last weekend with a brand new Shelby GT500 with 50 miles on the clock....im guessing there is no break in hehehe

And they were NOT budging from their price at all..infact, they came DOWN from their original asking price...

    I ran a 12.9 @ 117mph with a 2.2 60ft Yesterday on street tires, no traction and an underpowered clutch :rlaugh: But my buddy in his 99 Lightning ran a 12.2 @ 107mph with a 1.8 60ft. So I would imagine a 111mph would equal a good 11.9 pass.

    More like $14-$18k. 2003 Cobras can be found for $22k, wouldn't be worth buying an 01 for MORE than $17k or $18k.

    Cobras stock clutches are a lot stiffer than the GTs stock clutches, but if you can't get ANY car in or out of gear, you have a clutch issue. Either worn out, or mis-adjusted. I'd be careful there. good luck in your choice. But i'm telling you....get an 2001 Cobra :nice:

    If you're going to get a cobra, i would highly advice ONLY getting a 2001 Cobra. The 99s interior and exterior is basically just a GT with a cobra motor. When shifting the 99 cobra you'll also find your fist will often go right into the radio (crap design). And i think having the plain leather...
