    335/30/20?

    Yeah, I wouldn't put anything wider than a 305 on an S197.

    Charge motion plates - why?

The intake manifold of the S197 has a second set of butterflies in them, placed just before the intake valve. The goal of these plates is to increase the velocity of the air as it moves into the combustion chamber. Increasing the velocity of the air as it enters (also called port velocity) helps...

    335/30/20?

Holy craaaahhhaaaapppp dude! They did rears that big on the special edition Military Mustang a few weeks ago. They had to put a wide body kit on it for it to not look stupid haha!

Aluminum Driveshaft and Cold Air Intake

Nope... As said by walter, it has to do with the rear suspension, angles, etc. squidd, a member of AFM, learned everything about the S197 driveshaft design in his quest to go over 200mph. He tried I think 3 different types of 1 piecers... He had vibrations on each one. He put stock...

Aluminum Driveshaft and Cold Air Intake

Not exactly true... What if you're pushing 500+ rwhp? The stock shaft is only good up to about 450 rwhp. Now... If you want to be reaching HIGH speeds (140mph +) the stock driveshaft is a must.

    Need an Opinion

Call me a hypocrite... :rlaugh: Anyways, yesterday at work I mounted a 20 inch rim... And it was a PITA! The head mechanic looked at me and said "Don't ever get 20s", mainly because of how much it pissed him off mounting the tire on it! He didn't know about my future plans either...

    Charge Motion Delete Plates

So I can just rip off my CAI and take in air straight through the throttle body??? ;) :rlaugh: As far as the plate deletes go, I don't think you can go wrong. Go for it! :nice:

Tranny Swap Done by Anthony05GT on my 07 GT

Steeda is the only brand I know of that makes a 6 speed (besides the 6 in the GT500, right?). If I ever make the swap, it will be a 6 speed for sure! :nice:

    roush wing

I think you need to drill 4 altogether ~ 2 on each side. Roush has the install guide on their website. I'd go ahead and drill... I don't like the thought of anything on my car that expensive being held on by TAPE... :p

    more supercharger (twin screw) questions

Oh God dude, I couldn't agree more! If they made one that looked more like the Whipple or KB, I think it'd look a whole lot better.

    Won't spin tires

The factory ECU adjusts itself according to your typical driving style. If he's been doing lots of long freeway drives, it may be used to more gradual acceleration. Reset the ECU by unplugging the battery from the car. Do some SPIRITED driving around town for twenty minutes to half an hour...

    automatic shifters???

Lol well you're 100% wrong hahah! But I don't blame you! ;) There's a guy on All Ford Mustangs that makes and sells automatic shifters... They look just like a manual shifter ~ boot, handle, & all! :nice: Finally, my new automatic shifter design - Ford Mustang Forums :)

    more supercharger (twin screw) questions

Here we go... :D The Mammoth kit IS the best twin-screw supercharger in my honest opinion. However, it's gonna run you a lot of money... $6300 if you install it yourself and everything goes to plan. Now. For $6300, you have probably literally 100s of possibilities. From cheaper centrifugals with...

    more supercharger (twin screw) questions

Careful how you take info from a Ford Part dealer! :nice: :rlaugh: (Just kidding around tommy! ;) ) The Ford is overpriced in my honest opinion. $7000 for a kit that makes 550hp (like 510 to the wheels) is unbelievably high ~ That's roughly $30 per HP. :notnice: If you are 100% sure on a...

    Radar Detectors Are Now Worthless

Hmm... Just got my dad the new Valentine 1 for Father's Day :rlaugh:. It's insanely good at picking up radar... The bogey counter is a must... It's nice to have front, back, and side arrows... And I've heard nothing but good reviews from it! I'll update sometime on how he likes it. :nice:

    more supercharger (twin screw) questions

Well... KB exaggerates a little. Yes, you could make 775hp on the stock bottom end. That engine probably only lasted that one dyno... That engine was probably destroyed by the end of the test. That's WAY too much for the stock internals. Who know... Another one of those "keep the money in...
