    I would definitely prefer the 5spd for the extra 3~mpg and the ability to drive up the mountain....im 6 2 and im not too tall for it are you goliath or something?:shrug: I never considered a Corolla and didnt know they got that good gas mileage....i guess it wouldnt hurt to keep my eyes...

    this is true...i guess i can figure on a water pump & timing belt (tends to be the most common maintance on high mileage hondas) My friend has a 95 with over 300k, still runs like it was new
