    Ford changed the weatherstriping on the car so the doors close easier. I noticed that on the 2008-up doors, the windows don't quite squish the seals. On my 07 GT, the seals get squished quite a bit. My driver's door cannot close by itself without extra force due to the thickness of the seals...

    Which is it, 7 lb or 20 lb? The Cobalt SS runs 20+ psi but that is not your average turbocharged setup.     The turbos that are used in extreme environments and have to last for a long time aren't pushed very hard. Think max boost of 5 psi.

    I got the info from owners of stock vehicles. There are even reports of bad turbos right off the showroom floor. 2007-2009 Subaru WRX's are also blowing engines straight off the showroom floor. Subaru issued a stop sale in early 2008 but they stopped doing it for 2009 and there are many issues...

    Don't worry, it will happen soon on your 2008. I garaged my 07 GT over this winter and the deterioration has gotten worse just sitting in the garage (protected from UV/IR radiation).

    When I was buying the 07 GT, I recall a Ford advertisement that said it ran 0-60 in 4.9 seconds based on a magazine test for a MY05 S197 GT. If the 2010 GT w/ 3.73s only runs 4.9, I'm not that terribly impressed. I'd stick with the 3.31s for better fuel economy instead.

    No, this Coyote is a different engine family altogether (4V, DOHC, Modular Gen 2). The 5.0 used in the PJ Saleen was based on the current Modular 4.6L 3V V8.
