    Tweecer?

Ah I would bet the smoothed over chambers cut out a few potential hotspots and let you go a bit higher. Like you saw, stock castings leave a bit to be desired. :-D I like the class the OP is running in. It's amazing what you can do with stock parts. I've had the opportunity to tune for a few...

    Tweecer?

I'll give it a go next time I've got a stockish car on the dyno - in my experience with the stock iron heads (and as was the case last nite) power stops building around 28-30deg and beyond that detonation sets in. As you know every car is a bit different though so YMMV but that's why we dyno, to...

    Tweecer?

I think Grady means 26*. Car I tuned last nite which was stock save for an X-pipe and 24s (and 200k miles on motor!) ended up at 28* total, 12.8:1, made 202hp on the MustangDyne. Wes P.S. For an all out car I would run it a bit leaner for max power. ;)

    Please educate me on widebands

You'll want to be able to correlate the wideband data to your SCT handheld, so a wideband that outputs a 0-5v signal would be great to have. You'll also need a datalogging cable that lets you connect the wideband to the handheld. For consumer level stuff that doesn't break the bank I like to...

All AODE folks - need an observation

Turns out this transmission had a worn out tailshaft bushing with quite a bit of play and a snap ring wedged between the clutches. Wes

SCT 02 Transport Delay in revs

Multiplying the table by around 1.5 should get you in the ballpark. Wes

    Tuning Q

I like to run driver cars around the 180-200deg range to improve the burn. A hotter engine burns more efficiently and has better cylinder wall wear. If you run the car colder I would go with a stock range or slightly hotter plug to reduce fouling if you find the plugs getting fouled easily (also...

I agree, adapter and a tune are mandatory. Wes

Need help with EFI harness modification for 64 1/2 Mustang

I tune professionally so something like this is just another car to tune for me. When I got started several years ago the learning curve was steep. I had a great understanding of the mechanical side and how carbs/ignitions systems worked so once I was able to mentally identify what was...

    Grand Opening Pics!

Come on by Wade, I've been dynotuning for close to four months now but we waited until it got a bit cooler here to have our grand opening - Baton Rouge summers are BRUTAL! I've got some interesting 94/95 dyno tests I'll be posting up, comparing identical H/C/I AODE vs T5, aluminum driveshaft...

Need help with EFI harness modification for 64 1/2 Mustang

I have a twEECer on it now. I will eventually burn a Moates.net chip with my tune once I am done datalogging the computer and tuning it on the dyno. Wes

Need help with EFI harness modification for 64 1/2 Mustang

I just did the swap, it was very easy. Great link for older harness: Ford EFI Swap Wiring: http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/tech/engine/images/88-91_5.0_EEC_Wiring_Diagram.gif In 92 they switched to a slightly different setup. Let me know if you need any assistance. The swap took me about...

    What is the problem?

The Zeitronix ZT-2 wideband may be just want you want for logging as it will take in quite a few valuable inputs: Wide Band Air Fuel Ratio Meter SCT doesn't provide anything for logging EEC-IV. twEECer is king for logging on these cars, I would just be guessing trying to tune without one...

    Grand Opening Pics!

Since this is my favorite sub forum to read, I wanted to share a few pics with ya'll from our grand opening dyno day. We had an excellent turnout and dyno'd some amazing cars from around the state. Sage2k and Andy from here showed up to support the 94/95 crowd and we had a couple other 94/95s in...

    Horsepower?

Based off the cars I've dyno'd, I'd say well tuned around 225-235rwhp on a MustangDyne dyno. Wes

What to look for on a used SuperCharger?

How about thinking of it this way... How often in this hobby do you get better performance, less hassles and an all around great deal for $2k less? :D Your combo is well put together, why strap on a Powerdyne blower to it, you'll have to pulley it up to make good power to flow and...
