    supercharged pcv question

Stock for stock (both new from Ford) the supercoupe PCV sealed better than the stock replacement PCV. As the engine ages (or boost increases :)) having alternative breather/vacuum setups becomes a necessity to keep blowby at bay. Wes

Heads lifting under boost? or blown headgasket? x5

Yup the head gaskets are blown, higher boost is pushing combustion pressure into the coolant system. If you choose to go back with new head gaskets I would recommend ARP studs and Felpro 9333-PT1 head gaskets. Wes P.S. And a tune. :)

    Fast install

Running a couple cars with FAST. I always sit down with the wiring manuals and go through/label each wire and pull them out from there. You'll find that the body and engine harness are fairly separate from one another. Got some diagrams here: Category:94-95 Mustangs Electrical - Mustang-Tech...

    data log question

I'd get all driving conditions and try to filter out the decels/coasts where the injectors might be a little screwy. The transient enrichment also can skew things a bit so keep that in mind. Wes

Who's going to Pinks in Belle Rose this weekend?

I'll be there tomorrow. My phone suffered a catastrophic event while road racing. I'll have a new one tomorrow but until then shoot me a text message, those seem to work still. :) Wes

Anyone with MSD 2 step launch control! I need help!

I've dyno'd quite a few cars with various setups. Last nite there was a car with a push button switch on a cord that could be tucked out the way when not in use, nice for a driver. My favorite are the buttons on the shifters, transbrake style. We rewired the car last nite into a new shifter and...

    How to install injectors

They're a fairly easy swap, the upper intake comes off, along with the vacuum lines (or you can be very creative and scoot the intake to either side when you move the rails. Be sure to depressurize the rails or let the car sit overnight since the rails will have some pressure behind them if it...

Largest rear 17" tires on 95 GT - REAR?

No but my car is stock ride height. If you lower it then inner fenders will have to be beat in slightly and the quad shocks flipped. It is not a major ordeal. Well worth the added rubber and killer looks. I would imagine the quality of your rearend bushings will also play into whether or not you...

First Time on a REAL Drive Since New Engine...One Issue!

Ah there's so much to this stuff and every car is always a little different. I learn something every time I have one on the dyno. Always happy to help someone that is motivated to tune their car themselves. There's a lot to it but with some determination it's doable. Wes

First Time on a REAL Drive Since New Engine...One Issue!

Most of the time a warm surge is due to the fueling being off (often to the rich side) and the ISC not being quite right. Logging the AFR at startup and making sure commanded equals the wideband and then tackling the idle air (if necessary) will fix most problems like these. Wes

Largest rear 17" tires on 95 GT - REAR?

I'm just getting done with my escapades in tire swapping. I started with 245x45x17 all the way around (Sumitomo HTRZII+) on the stock 98GT rims, then went to a Nitto 555R Drag tire on the back 275x40x17, then swapped rims for some 9"/10.5" 03 Cobra rims and went 275x40x17 up front (P Zero Nero)...

First Time on a REAL Drive Since New Engine...One Issue!

Congrats on taking it for a nice drive! Shoot me a driving/coast down log with your AFR in it. Sounds like we may need to tune in the ISC valve a bit. Wes
