    Shelby drop and Springs?!

    i just did the shelby drop and noticed maybe 1/4" overall drop. I also installed 1" lowering 620 coils on the car BEFORE the shelby mod. Still need another 1/2" so i guess cutting the coil is the way to go from here. mike

    I just installed a new power master cylinder in my 65. Used a unit from SSBC with the original pedal. Having trouble figuring out the adjustable pushrod. How do you know how far to adjust it out? The pedal is just resting against the rubber stop but seems as if it has to move a long way before...

    rear seat belts...

    The plate with two circles in it between the two seat belts. I have the same on my GT vert. I put my inner belts more on the trand tunnel...but noticed the fuel lines just before drilling!

    i have 18x8 on the rear of my 65. Not sure 10" will fit. I have to "bend" part of the inner well to allow room for the 8" wheels. Leafs are also getting close at 8" mike

    Alternator problem?

    i replaced my regulator and now am getting 13.5 v at the battery...so that one is solved. Lights still a little dim at idle. I'll check the left blinker bulb. thanks mike

    Wipers run the wrong way

    well it turns out that when i attached the arms to the new motor the arm was 180 deg. off. I moved the arm today and now they work just fine. Thanks fo the help. mike

    When i replaced the motor a few months ago i just pulled the old one down and bolted in the new. The new one turns the correct direction, just stops with the wipers pointing up rather than to the side. Of course i did not check the direction before installing the wiper blades...they nearly...

    OK, so i try to install my wipers on my 65 vert. The new motor stops the wipers in the vertical position rather than horizontal. Oviously the stop is in the wrong location. Any ideas? thanks mike

    nice article "2bav8". i thought the 1 inch drop on uppers would result in more than a 1/4" drop in the car. So, how else do i get another 1/2 drop? Cut the springs? Was the shelby drop worth the time? thanks

    So i have decided to do the Shelby mod on my 65 convert. I know to drop the upper arms 1.25" but what else do i need to do? Car has factory V8 spindles with disk brakes and Randalls rack power steering. Do i need a wedge kit? Which one? Bump steer? thanks mike
