    yes its bolt on. you take the old lower off, swap over the fuel rails and other components, then put the new one on. probably 5-6 hrs i'm guessing

    thank you wms, i knew it made a difference. i think even 5 or 6 hp is worth 200 bucks. i just like to stick with ford when it comes to the tb. i have several tps's laying around from other tb's so its not a matter of getting one or paying for one, i just don't like the fact that other brands...

    i assume they will make this lower intake compatible with there upper plenum and hopefully you can use the stock fuel rails which will keep cost nd price down. i'm hoping for no more than 700.

    i read that with the cnl intake plenum, the 75mm tb gets 3-5 more hp than the 70mm. thats the only reason i ask about the frpp 75mm

    i have the money for cams,but my car is still under warranty and i'm not ready to start messing with the engine. what i really want is p&p heads with new internals, and new cams, but the problem is the money to install. i can do minor bolt-ons, but i would never mess around with heads or cams...

    i've got 4.10's going in very soon, and i'm running out of elsewhere thats within reason. i figured i'd sell the frpp 70 anyway so i'll spend maybe 125-150. not much i can do with that.

    i want to get a 75 mm tb to go with my cnl upper intake, but i am partial to frpp. i have a 70 but figure i would go to 75 but don't like the other brands, especially the ones that don't come with a new tps.

    u need to re-use the pin so take the whole arm out and idsconnect the cable from the arm. tap the pin with a happer while the arm is out of the car, then put the new pedal on and tap the pin back in. i had the same problem and ended up breaking the oe pedal getting it off and breaking the frpp...

    i have been contemplating this my self. i have an 02 gt vert that i race, but now that i run 13.60's, technically i cant and have to dial in at 14.00 and hit the brakes which sucks. the light bar looks awesome, and i think the roll cage would look stupid. i know i need at least a 6 point cage...

    i've just seen the pics of the 3v moter that was just posted by another member and i think we can forget about a head swap. it looks like thee would be a whole lot of fabrication to relocate the t/b and you would need the new intake which i figured anyway. you would need a whole new air intake...

    i think at least 50% of the people looking for a new intake is for strength over the plastice one for forced induction. the other half wants power and looks. i never heard of the r/r plastic and probably because there either is none, or it didn't work that well.

    i wonder if the 05 gt will have a plastic intake, or will they put something new on. i f they go with the 3v heads, i would think they would need a new intake design. hopefully they can both be swapped and hopefully the use aluminum
