    I Am Back!

Technically, I'm the first owner of mine. It was a lease return in '99 with ~25,300 miles, so it was still owned by Ford.

They did a Contour, too. :nice:

    Can Someone Identify This Mustang?!

SVT doesn't do anything with V6 Mustangs. Someone popped an SVT badge on, possibly trying to pass it off as a more expensive model. The only non-V8 Mustangs that FoMoCo did were the SVO back in the 80's, before SVT existed.

    94/95 A/C into Fox Swap??

That may be true, but without the proper EPA certification, R12 is unobtainium. I recall you mentioned having taken the test a while back, but not everyone has the cert necessary, myself, and probably most of the present company included. Going 134a is the way to go, if starting with all new...

    Bye Bye Motor

See if you can grab an Explorer engine somewhere. With some GT40's, or GT40P's, you could swap springs and the cam and pick up a few horses while saving up for another engine. Check Car-Part.com. There's one on there as cheap as $150 with high mileage.

    1 Quart Every 500 Miles

 What bearings come into contact with the combustion chamber? If you had said rings, or valve seals, I would agree.

Will Coyote 6 Speed Work In Old School 5.0's?

It's not just about production though. Companies like D&D have been putting T56's into Mustangs for probably 5 years before the Cobra had one, and they have the ability to be adapted to a mechanical speedometer.

    Geting Butt Kicked By Z28!?

Pick up some Stage 8 locking bolts. They'll never back out again without your permission.

Will Coyote 6 Speed Work In Old School 5.0's?

You're better off picking up a T56 if you want to do a 6 speed swap. They can be expensive, but they are more plentiful than the MT-82 is, and would be far less of a headache to adapt.

    Geting Butt Kicked By Z28!?

Gears, tires, and a bottle. He'll see tail lights the entire 1/4 mile.

    1 Quart Every 500 Miles

With a quart every 500 miles, you probably have a broken ring land on one of your pistons. That's a lot of oil consumption. Have you experienced any detonation prior to this oil consumption issue?

    94 Gt Won't Start..sometimes

Sometimes this can be an indication of a dying fuel pump, if the stator inside the distributor and the TFI check out ok. The times you have difficulty starting it, do you hear the fuel pump prime? Sometimes cycling the key on and off a few times allows the fuel system to build enough pressure to...

Do I need pushrod guide plates?

Nope, you won't need guide plates with stock heads.

97 Cobra with a Broken Timing Chain

If the broken timing chain is the extent of the damage, you'd be lucky. Chances are, every piston kissed some valves and the head needs to come off for inspection. I would pass on this one, personally.

a/c compressor and the paper clip tirck

Check the charge. You can do it to diagnose the low charge, but I definitely wouldn't do it either long-term, or short-term. Depending on how bad the compressor was damaged if it ran low, it could be a complete replacement of your AC system. Now is a good time to look into a 134a conversion, if...

How rough did your Fox look? That Cobra looks beat half to death.
