    GAS?

I get any where from 18 - 25 mpg depending on where I'm driving, and I really like to get on it, so I'm sure it could be better

    Widest tires on OEM's

you'll get a better ride if you use wider tires out back and go a little thinner up front. You really don't want that wide of a tire up front because it just creates more rolling resistance and doesn't help your handling or comfort. I'd say go with the 265s out back and 245s up front if...

you slamming it every time is probably bringing it farther out of alignment...just a thought

I'm new and looking for help!

putting any headers on a newer mustang isn't exactly a walk in the park, so plan a day for it... Personally I don't like the way that MAC sounds, but it's all personal opinion, you really should go to a mustang shop or a show or track day and listen to what different setups sound like, find...

5.4 or 4.6 for my new drag car?

No replacement for displacement...go with the 5.4 mod motor, get 4v heads on it and blow that 150 shot...it's gonna cost you, but if it's power you want, the 5.4 is going to make more than the 4.6 (everything else held constant) every day of the week.

    Bottlenecks in a stock GT

Gears are going to be the biggest bang for the buck (especially on a budget)...no hp but you'll get going a lot quicker. Probably about $500 including install and another $100 or so to get the speedcal. If you're interested in where the bottlenecks are from the factory, they exist throughout...

    Aluminum DOHC into 2000GT?

If you have the money you should definitely do it! Personally I'm not touching anything power related on my car because I have a bored and stroked aluminum block 2003 cobra dohc motor that I'm piecing together as the cash comes in. Once I get it built, blown, and tuned I'll pull my stock 2v...

Have around $1000 for some Mods

I think you'd be spending your money most effectively with gears, cams or trans cooler, an SCT and a dyno tune... If you're doing the install work yourself then the $1k you have should be just about enough. Don't go out and get all the little nickle and dime stuff until you've got the big...

    Headlamp problem

I haven't heard of this problem, but you can get a complete assembly for about $100 less than he is quoting you. If you decide to go that way take a look around online...I've seen some places that will sell the set of both headlamps for $320 or so.

Think I can take my car subs and make home theatre floor speakers?

you may be able to overcome some of the electrical problems by using a car amp that has an impedence that matches your subs...the bigger issue, as I see it, is that you are going to get fairly poor quality sound in comparison to a system that was built for home entertainment

My paint has swirls and scuffs

It might just need some wet-sanding and then a paint cleaner and wax...it sounds like the car is old enough that you should probably do this anyway if you've never done it before

    Microfiber towels

I got a huge pack of them from Costco and they are really great for keeping inside the car for dusting and doing windows There really isn't that big of a difference among the different brands

    stang cleaning day, tips please.

I like to remove my wheels from the car and wash and wax the insides of them as well...it keeps the brake dust from settling so much in the wheels Don't forget to retorque your lugnuts to 100lb/ft once you get the wheels back on

    Car smell

if you're willing to spend the $ I would take it to a detail shop and have them do a serious detail job on your interior and make sure you tell them that your goal is to get rid of the smell...they have a handfull of techniques to do that effectively

Opinions on the Kicker 12" L7

they are pretty good if you just want an a$$load of bass...I'm not a huge fan of kicker because they aren't as tight as most of the stuff that I like
