    The guy who helped me diag the problem said that he thinks replacing the precats will solve the problem, the guy at the muufler shop who quoted $230 per cat plus $30 to install said replacing the backs will solve the problem Here is what I am looking...

    I just replaced mine today, mine would not hold any vacuum at any time. I think cats are going bad too. has anyone replaced theirs with the generic MagnaFlow Catalytic Converters?

    Power seat problem

    My 93GT has power seats and the driver seat just give me a buzz when I hit the button. Is there a way to manually adjust them? I would like to adjust them to the proper point and then lock them in at that position and then take out the motor.

    I remember trying using this stuff years ago and it did not work what so ever, in fact it increased the NOX in most cars.

    My 93GT just failed the smog test, yes it has 150Kon the engine, it passed the test at 25mph but failes at the 15mph test. (too high of NOX). Do you thinj the EGR system is failing on this too. I assume that it the same one that rolled off the factory floor in 92.

    are you running two or three gauges in your cage? I would love to able to out them in the air vents but the rules do not allow it, I wish there was a factory car that was made without that air vent or at least a cover over it.

    Water Temperature Sending Unit

    I know this is an older thread, I want to put in a mechanical water temp gauge in my 92 GT. I know there is a sensor that feeds the computer, is there another sensor that drive the gauge and if there is; where is it? Thanks Dave

    Piston to valve clearance

    No matter what I would do a valve to piston check, using the old clay method. Make sure if yoy retard or advnce the cam at a later date that you recheck.
