    Concept mustang

Yes, there are certain styling qualities from the concept that are better. Not only do I think the aftermarket will try to provide concept solutions, but I think Ford will eventually transform this car more into the concept through special models, possible future refreshenings, and etc.

    1999-2004 Clear Foglights Before/After?

Hey guys, I'm going to buy the clear fogs tonight. Do you think these http://store6.yimg.com/I/racerwheel_1789_23937051 and these: http://www.procarparts.com/store-detail.asp?sku=FD99MT%2D6192FLX are the same? Are these the clear fog lights that everyone has here? Also, I've...

Finding a Good Body Shop is Impossible!

Yes, finding a good body shop does seem impossible. My car got screwed up around the right rear wheel molding a couple years ago, and it needed to be reshaped/repainted. Well, my mom had this friend who owns a body shop, and she of course said he's one of the best around. After it was done...

    I don't like the V6 Mustang

Why wasn't the cut-through dual exhaust kept from the concept? Safety/cost issue or something? It looks pretty sweet, but maybe it wouldn't like right on the production rear.

    I don't like the V6 Mustang

I hope titanium silver is eventualy offered. I'm sick of all these cheap paints that look the same across all cars, year after year. I'd love to see some unique, break-through chrome or dull-chrome finish that actually looks like metal. As for not liking the V6, I think it's mostly about...

    1999-2004 Clear Foglights Before/After?

Thanks guys. I think the clear fogs look great; those should have been stock. So was the install time-consuming---I assume you have to take off the bumper cover and stuff? How do you make sure they're both aligned correctly? Very nice cars by the way...

Be the First to Own 2005 Seats...

I was browsing Ebay, and look what I found: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2472582626&category=33701 How the hell these are being sold already, who knows... But, now you can set these up in your house, watch TV in them, sleep in them, and pretend you...

    1999-2004 Clear Foglights Before/After?

Does anyone else feel our stock GT foglights look dated on the current Mustang? They're slotted and foggy-looking in comparison to the headlights. So, I was thinking of installing a set of these clear ones...

    05 seats

Know what I don't get? If Ford can offer an instrument cluster upgrade that creates a spectrum of colors, why can't they offer something as essential as a seating upgrade? I'd jump on a comfort upgrade package, as I'm sure many would.

    05 seats

If those two pictures are the comparison you were talking about, I don't see any resemblance. The BMW look comfortable, supportive, and luxurious. Those Mustang seats look like red leather bricks that are about as supportive as sitting in an "L." Though I won't know for sure until I sit in...

    "Pops-A-Dent" -Good Idea?

Don't use pops-a-dent, ding king, etc....go get it fixed at a paintless dent repair place. It was working for me, but it's too risky. I didn't realize that my dent was disappearing, but the metal was being pulled out beyond the surface. Anyways, the outcome was: Dent was gone, but metal...

Why Pass 05 and wait for 06??

To add to my earlier post...yes, hang on to the '67, especially if it's causing you no problems; the value will only increase. Deciding whether to wait for '06 should be based on you. If you're critical of purchases and hang onto cars for a long time, then wait. If you're buying the new...

Why Pass 05 and wait for 06??

Wait for '06 and keep both. If you like your '67, then you don't want to regret losing it down the road. If space is an issue and you have to be one of the first to own the '05's, then go for it. But, what's one more year?

05 GT, Where is the hood scoop?

If we're talking about air intakes, then :nice:+2. The originals didn't have air intakes, and the 2005's don't. I've always thought of scoops as the "scoop" out of the metal, or the indentations if you prefer. The originals had these, the 1999's had these, and the 2005's don't. That's why I...

    Ford Dealer Training Thread

:rlaugh: I love #8. Maybe it should be changed to "Ron Jeremy loves rounded Mustangs." (I'm anxiously awaiting Ron Jeremy's response: "No, I do not like rounded Mustangs. I like flat and squared cars like the 2005 Mustang. I hate cars like the Honda Accord that look like tear drops. All...

05 GT, Where is the hood scoop?

I don't agree. Look at these various classic pictures compared to 1999 model and then compared to 2005. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6236&item=2468178177 (Classic)...

05 GT, Where is the hood scoop?

Guys, back off on this TX96GT kid. It's not worth the effort. As soon as he started typing about grandma's car, etc., I knew it was some immature kid just trying to be annoying and trying to get Mustang fans going...and then he even admitted to trying to irritate, so what more do you need...

05 GT, Where is the hood scoop?

BRING ON THE FAKE SCOOPS!!!!! :rlaugh: No seriously, I don't think it needs fake scoops, but just more style (lines, indentations, etc.) on the hood/sides (though I'm satisfied with the current look). I'm still hoping for a concept-type hood and maybe concept-type sides. The scoops on the...

Spy Shot of 06 Cobra Test Mule??

Well it can't be a spy shot, because who would be waiting in the grass at a random location for a Mustang to fly by, and then catch a perfectly centerered shot?
