    oil pressure problem

One night I was coming home and my oil pressure dropped. I kept on driving the 45 minutes home figured it was just a sensor. Well, the short part of this story is, part of the oil pan gasket was deteriorating and being sucked into the oil pump screen. When the car warmed up, the oil pressure...

    Fall Pictures

Thanks guys. Yea there are some spots that need some attention, but I stop feeling bad about it everytime I see a newer car that looks worse than my 15 yr old Pony. She has the 10 holes back on now, put on a new set of blades, and new set of pony splashguards for winter. Got the door...

    Corbeau Seats?

If they are willing to send it to you, go for it. I imagine they will send a rma # so that you can send back whichever brackets you don't like. Did you try what I suggested, give them a good test fit? Also, the part that it hitting on the tranny hump may be nothing more than insulation...

    Corbeau Seats?

I would go ahead and tighten each corner down making sure to do it evenly so it sits even. See how it looks and then decide if you need to call Corbeau in the morning (pacific mtn time). That is the same part # as mine though. You really want to have the seat attached to the bracket...

    Corbeau Seats?

That bracket doesn't look like mine. My slider is all the way to the left and right edges of my brackets. I just went out and looked at mine. Mine does dig into the tranny carpet pretty good on the driver side, but its all hidden with the seat there. I'm not 100% certain that they sent you...

    Corbeau Seats?

I remember when I first tried to install the brackets... I was like how are these flat pieces going to fit in a curved floor pan. I called them and they said to just start each nut/bolt and then draw each one down a little at a time so that they balance out evenly when torqued down. I...

    nice day today

Looking good. I heard reports of some snow already flying last Monday night near Champaign Illinois. I am afraid this winter may be a bad one.

    Door map pockets???

My drivers side map pocket is the original one, It was sagging just a little before my easy fix. I pulled the elastic toward the center, one end at a time, then used needle and thread to sew the elastic tight. The extra elastic was then cut off and removed. You can't see where the elastic is...

Took a few pictures of the 93 today.

If you can't find a shorty black one, then just get a stock black one and cut it down, thats how I did mine. I had a guy at work solder the ball back on or he might have welded it. Not for sure.

    dash speakers

aahh yes, another fellow JL'er. I have the 3.5 JL's in the dash, Pioneer 6 1/2 in the doors (special application, slim to fit with the power windows) and JL's in the hatch. So much more clarity than the stock paper. Course the 10" subs in the back help throw down the bass rather well :D

Door Lock Actuator Retrofit is the Bomb

I used metal strapping for the reinforcement, then hot glue to hold it while the liquid nails hardened and cured. It sure can't hurt anything, hopefully will keep the panel tight to the door. I use a door panel tool, but still can't seem to get under all the clips before they pull out.

Door Lock Actuator Retrofit is the Bomb

Thanks JT for the ideas. Thanks 1990, I hope it helps you in doing yours, Its not that bad at all to do. Well, I opened up the door and found that when I jiggled the electical connections it worked. I believe it was probably the scotch blocks not making good contact. The factory wiring...

Door Lock Actuator Retrofit is the Bomb

Ok, its been 4 months since I did the retrofit on the passenger side door. It started every so often not wanting to work, now its pretty much not wanting to go up or down at all. Both switches still work the drivers side, so it doesn't appear to be the switches. Guess I'm going to have to...

    Missing power lock actuators?!

I did the retrofit on my passenger side door. It wasn't hard at all. Occassionaly the door lock won't work, but with a good slam of the door it starts working again. Mine could just be a poor connection of the scotch blocks in the wiring. Here is the link to the post that I made when I did...

Ever had problems with gas pedal sticking?

This sound like something I have experienced before. When you press the pedal, it is like its sticking before going down a little. I found it to be the butterfly in the throttle body needed cleaned. Use a little carb cleaner on the butterfly and the throttle body to remove the gunk. Hope...
