anyone used the quarter window molding covers?

I have them and have for several years now. Not a bad solution for covering up a problem.. if I ever do a full repaint, will probably restore them, but for now, they look fine.

Need to replace the A/C hose protective cover

I tried that it and the heat from the manifold melted the foam. I ended up just putting wire loom on it to cover it at least.

    what happened here

I admit I don't get on here everyday like I used to. I don't drive her everyday so I don't have a problem to search for all the time, lol. But I still have her.

    Door lock issue?

I thought the same thing, easier to just replace with the correct part. The fix is not that hard, just takes about 30 minutes at a good hardware store to get the parts and its easy as pie. They work so much better than the correct part.

    door panel fastener hole repair?

I used metal strapping for the reinforcement, then hot glue to hold it while the liquid nails hardened and cured. It sure can't hurt anything, hopefully will keep the panel tight to the door. I use a door panel tool, but still can't seem to get under all the clips before they pull out.

    She turned 16

Yea, I didn't even get her a party hat this year. She will just have to settle for the wax job and the touch up paint, lol

She is still kicking after turning 16th on August 28th. I guess you could say Sweet 16  Off to a local Cruise tomorrow afternoon, just going to be going, nothing special.

    Is anyone here anymore?

Just popping in to say hi! I drove mine everyday to work this week and let my DD Grand Prix sit. Its just amazing the differences between new and old. The stang just feels like it wants to run, but the GP has creature comforts. Got to get some miles in before winter hits.

how hard to install a speedo cable?

Be careful pulling the cable out of the tranny, mine pulled the casing away from the metal end and i banged my hand. Use a pair of channel locks on the end instead to pull it out.

A/C Clutch will not engage, but air will blow.

I really need some help finding the WOT. I went out and looked at it today. I started her up and the a/c blew cold with compressor clutch working. Then when I revved her up, it stopped working. Can notice some roughness to the engine, but not too bad. Remember its a 2.3, so it may be in a...

A/C Clutch will not engage, but air will blow.

Thanks Joe, I think that answers my question that 6 volts is not good at the compressor plug. Any change you have a pic of the WOT relay? I'll probably just follow the wires back from the plug, should lead me to there. Will do some more investigating tomorrow.

A/C Clutch will not engage, but air will blow.

Joe, I jumped my low pressure switch and clutch is still not engaging. I checked the voltage from wire to wire at the compressor plug and I got 6 volts. What should the reading be at that point? I have the electrical type clutch, not the stock one, been in car for 7 years, if this makes a...
