    50Restos Wheel kit question

Thanks 25th... so you added the spacer so the wheels would sit out a little more so the wheels would have a wider track? I called 50 resto and they didn't know of any reason that the wheels wouldn't fit without a spacer. Just picking your brain now. I appreciate the pics you posted up.

Anybody rock a 2.3 daily driver?

25th, loved the reef blue!! The 2.3 isn't too bad if you have never had anything over 4 cylinders. Since I have started driving my new DD, I really enjoy being able to pass and accelerate better than the 2.3.

Finally have a DD, and can let the stang rest

SVT your right on the $$$$$. When I got home from dropping kids off at school, i put a trouble light and a halogen floodlight near the reservoir. Just went outside and checked, the passenger side is flowing, but its closest to the reservoir. So now I have the light on top of the engine...

Finally have a DD, and can let the stang rest

Yea, the GP is no 5.0, but it is no slouch either. Passing is a breeze and braking is good too. MPG is 18/28, so not much different than the 2.3, it was getting between 18-20 in town. All stop and go driving in my little town. It is a joy to drive, but still can't boot the old stang when...

    Happy birthday to me...

Yea, i checked with my insurance company and even though my car is in the garage, it is not covered by homeowners,,, anything that can have a separate policy purchased is not covered under homeowners/renters insurance. Renters insurance is a good thing to have, but this would be under your car...

Finally have a DD, and can let the stang rest

One drawback, I had to clean off the snow off wife's Uplander this morning, not enough garage for 3 cars  Yea it picked this weekend to snow about an inch. Oh well, at least I have fwd and abs to tame the snow.

    Happy birthday to me...

I would think pulling carpet up would be in order, if dampness stays under there, smell and rust could be an issue big time. I'm sure you don't want to make too many waves, especially if you like living there, but i would think the landlords would share some responsibility for the plumbing...

Anybody rock a 2.3 daily driver?

Up until yesterday, I daily drove my 93 2.3 105 hp for 15.5 yrs. I just turned 98,000 and its still a fun car to drive. No its not as fast as a 5.0, but it stil does the job. There are still repairs that have to be done from time to time, so don't let it kid you that the maintenance will be...
