    Steeda Catback install - Pics

Looks good, always liked the Steeda SS kits. It's always something on the install, and good thing you prefit it on the ground prior to install. Now where's the sound clip/vid?

Putting lowered Stang up on ramps?

I've got a set of (plastic) ramps, called Rhino ramps that work well on my (not too) lowered, but mach 1 chin spoilered stang. They're easy to handle and never slide as they have rubber feet to keep them in place.

    What's Your Dream Daily Driver?

Excellent thread. I think about this a lot actually. Right now, I'm driving a company car which is a 2010 4cyl. FWD Ford Escape XLT and I can see why it's such a popular vehicle as a DD for so many people- ~23mpg in mixed driving (30mpg hwy), Easy to drive, 6 speed with decent power, room and...

Having a problem with my 98 GT

Load is when you press the throttle down and ask the car to accelerate as opposed to keeping a steady speed or slowing down. The computer does have a memory and the code could be stored the memory of the computer and can be read via scanner. Agree, at this point it could be a few things, but...

    Steeda Front Strut Bar

About 30k miles were on it when I installed it and while I drive it agressively, it's not abused in any way. Here's a shot just after install if your interested how it looks cutting out/around the black plastic cowl piece.

    lost a friend today

Very sorry for your loss and an excellent reminder for not only us car/stang drivers, but to those motorcycle riders to be aware and safe on the roadways. Prayers to he, his family and close friends.

    HEAD SWAP ??????

Here you go for the how to thread. As far as which ones go, you can use either, just have to make sure that you have the cam covers that match the heads you pick up. I too am considering going all the way with a full headswap as the prices for the heads have come down so much lately, but since...

What are the gas prices where you live?

Just filled up on my way home tonight. It's $2.95 9/10 for 87 octane. It's gone up quite a bit over the past few weeks. Didn't check or notice the plus and premium grades.

    94-98 factory grille

Mine doesn't have it and as far as I know never did.

    Steeda Front Strut Bar

That sounds strange that it doesn't fit right. My Steeda three point brace was an absolute perfect fit. I trimmed the black cowl piece around the bar and to me it looks like it is an OEM part. Once you figure out the install issues, I felt an improvement in rigidity when one side of the car...

    demoralized

I've seen sooooo many IAC threads that I would give that a shot. I know you stated that you "checked" it, but if you seach IAC and stalling tons of hits come up.

    Going to the track tonight...

I ran my Nitto DRs at 20lbs and tried them lower, but it didn't improve times any for me, but I was (am) a noob when it comes to the track. 17 is a good place to start.

98 GT wont start after sitting

Yes, definately start there with checking the fuel pump. Somehow when I read your post I read it that you did hear it . Good catch Mike.

    First 4.6

With a vert, my first mod would be some SFCs (sub frame connectors) to firm up that puppy. I vote for Bassani or Flowmaster 44s with 3.5" slanted tips, then some appropriate springs/shocks/struts for that right drop and ride/handling upgrade - just not too low or too stiff so you can enjoy just...

98 GT wont start after sitting

Could you have bad gas now from sitting? Hard diagnose why you previously had issues. Did you put in stabil fuel before you let it sit, if not it's possible the fuel turned on you. Give the Battery a good/full charge? Any lights flashing on the dash? Try starting in Neutral? More details...

    Plenum/TB Discussion Thread

Tank, some awesome numbers there and thanks for doing the work of swapping and re-swapping. I would like to add a tune to my mod list to see if I can get down in the mid 13s.:nice:

    Plenum/TB Discussion Thread

Thanks, the site worked. It was actually slightly warmer the 2nd time around so I guess that kills the theory that cooler weather made the car go faster. Could it be that the TB/plenum combo possibly helped? 1st run in May 7th 9:54 AM 61.0 F 30 % 30.28 in 10:54 AM 63.0 F 27 %...
