    Definately a manual. One thing most people don't realize is that on the 99-04 (at least) stangs, there is a key lock on the manuals (right above the ignition key you have to depress a lever to get the key out)... but not on the automatic.

    you will need to get a set of MIL eliminators. Personally I think you should go with a set of high flow cats... if you completely dump the cats it'll sound like crap.

    ebay has the MIL elim's for the 3.8 liter's. If her exhaust is tripping it you may want to consider having the emissions checked because then you either have a problem with emissions or they damaged her Oxygen sensors when installing it.

    no problem doing this, i have a few times. just make sure to disconnect the negative battery cable so that it will reset the engine's expected input or else you may end up with your engine shaking

    2.25" is all you need for a v6 unless you're planning on running a supercharger. if you put 2.5" you have the possibility of losing backpressure.

    Sounds to me like you're riding the clutch. I'd take a look at how i'm driving and just get a new ford clutch. Mine lasted over twice as long as that. However, don't take no for an answer. Threaten with lawyers, write to corporate, do what you gotta do to try and get them to replace it...

    I dunno about the fox body... but the more recent stangs have door panels that literally hook on, so once you remove the screws you just have to slide them up. but good luck
