    Door Lock Actuator???

This is a pain in the butt to replace it. I'll try to be as clear as I can, I had to do this about 6-8 months ago. It took me about 2 months before I finally finished it. First off remove the mach tweeter if you have one. Then remove the interior handle thing that has the power controls...

    Mustang Speakers

IF YOU HAVE A MACH SYSTEM (which you probably do) front: 5x7 Rear: either 6.5" round or 6x8 MY RECCOMENDATIONS: Replace the headunit and mount a 4 channel amp. I went with an Alpine headunit and Kenwood amp. Ran the speaker wires to 5.25" round components up front, and 6.5" rounds in the...

    Door Lock Actuator???

It's a pain in the ass. I'll tell you that right now. If you have the Mach system, remove the tweeter. Pry off the cover, then there's one screw holding it in. Use a nutdriver or phillips. Pop out the handle thing and disconnect the wiring from the window and power door locks. Remove the...

    Aftermarket Alternators?

Well, mine's fried. Gotta get a new one. It seems the OEM alternator is a 105 amp. I've been reading around and it seems that you can find 130 amp modules out there. Is this safe? It seems that it will charge the battery faster, thus less drag on engine = better mpg. It also seems that...

    Horrible Gas Mileage!

get a new fuel filter, have you changed your plugs recently? Go down to Auto Zone (i dont know where else this is sold) but the product is Sea Foam. Put one can in your tank and you'll notice a huge difference!

CAI and exhaust make car worse?

disconnect your negative battery cable for 30 mins or so. let the computer reset itself. you are probably losing mileage because you like the sound and put the pedal a little harder ;)

    Brakes Wearing out fast????

if you get air in one side it may not press as hard as it will on the other side. that would cause uneven wear. however, cheap ass pads are probably the culprit. I spent $60 on the front and $50 on the back and got some Bendix semi-metallc brake pads. They are better than a non-metallic...

    MAC exhaust owners?

    The "new" flowmaster super 40's

use 2.25" for a mid pipe and flow tubes, then 2.5" for tails. thats what i have, and it sounds great. if you are going to be putting more mods on like a supercharger, you can go with 2.5" but other than that 2.25" is all you need.

Cut the y pipe or not to cut it

Without a constriction point on your Y pipe, you will get better flow, therefore an added horse or two and a fraction of a mpg. You have to have a friend at a muffler shop to get your cats taken off, or even to get an off road pipe put on... they're illegal for street use. you have to have a...
