    removing wax from plastic I heard all kinds of things on a Lightning forum I used to be on-peanut butter, WD40, etc., what worked was straight Dawn and a little brush. Wax gone and be more careful or use ICE or tape it. I use Cherry wet to shine mine-vehicle that is.

    hot Mine gets hot too, but I just start moving it more and it'll cool down. Put a T handle on it and you'll be wishing for that heat when it gets cold. I find it to be worth more than the 162.00 I spent for it.

    hmmmmmm Overall consensus seems to be that most aftermarket shifters are much better than stock. To me stock felt like it was made of rubber.
