are long tubes headers hard to put on?

You will more than likely have to lift the engine a few inches for the passenger side header, and you may have to disconnect the steering linkage for the drivers side header. The job is not hard, just time consuming. You can jack the motor up with a block of wood and a floor jack on the oil...

    getting too hot!!!

A 180* stat is supposed to start opening at 180*, correct? Therefore it would close, atleast partially, when coolant that is under 180* passes through the motor - until that coolant gets hotter than 180* where the stat would open again. This cycle repeats itself..

    getting too hot!!!

The slower the coolant flows through the rad, the cooler it gets. If coolant were flowing through the rad constantly at a high rate, then the rad wouldn't have enough time to do it's job proporly. Therefore the coolant would still be hot by the time it flows through the rad and back into the...

What should I use to clean my new cam before I install it?

Use varsol or paint thinner to clean the cam. If you have air, then air dry it. If not, then use a lint free (clean, ie new) cloth/rag to dry it off.

    Failed E-test

Motor is a stock rebuild and the heads have like 600km on them since I rebuilt them (valve job etc). The car runs good, other than a surging idle problem. KOEO I get code 11 - Checks OK. Heads have been milled .010" and i'm using flat top pistons instead of the dished ones out of my 88...

    Help With Trouble Codes...

MAP sensor wasn't plugged in, and I replaced the fuel pump relay.. CE light is now off and I got 11's when i ran the KOEO test. Idle still surges and the car still stalls when coming to a stop.. I have to find a multimeter to double check the TPS, and get my speedo hooked up. Hopefully this...

    Help With Trouble Codes...

OK well the fuel pump, spout and VSS codes were in continuos memory. Could these be related to my car stalling/being bump started (2-3 times a day)? My TFI module is new from napa, so it should not be a problem (at $100 - I hope not).

I like my centerforce dual friction, although it is very grabby. Has a great pedal feel, lighter than stock.

    Help With Trouble Codes...

I just built a motor and I have it running in the car.. I have a surging/missing idle, and the car likes to stall when coming to a stop sign. Here are the KOEO codes.. These three, I am not too worried about. The VSS and Neutral pressure switch are not hooked up, due to me using a...

Best Fox Suspension! Your opinion matters!

Your best off to contact MM and let them know your situation.. they will set you up right the first time. It may cost a few bucks but it's worth the extra coin - by FAR!

Best Fox Suspension! Your opinion matters!

A panhard bar locates the axle, preventing it from walking side to side and possibly steering your car and/or making the rear end unpredictable. The upper control arms take on this task from the factory, but they do an awefully crappy job at it! I love how my car handles with my current rear...
