    get a small hose, start your engine, put one end of the hose to your ear and then try and find where the sound is coming from.

    Have 4.10's with 5spd..thinking about 4.30's

    I'm running a 4.30 with a 4 banger trans and a 2.3, and it is FUN! I have a 28" street tire that revs quickly, but my 26" drag radials are great, they hook and rev even quicker! Go for it, don't fear the gear, it wont hurt you unless it puts you at to high of a RPM for your trap speed.

    While your down there, UPGRADE! If you have stock ca's, the ball joints are a bastard to get out, i'd just get tubular ca's and some solid motor mounts (but thats just me). If $$ allows, get the k member too, so you wont have to tear it all apart twice!

    Oil Pump help please

    You can get a hardened shaft from ARP for about $30 that comes with a new clip, great for peace of mind that if your oil pump goes, your ignition will shut off seeing that it will not twist. Or if your in a hurry and on the cheap, i'm sure your local ace/lowes has it in the fasteners section.

    It's not a C. D4 was the last year they where made. You either have a Windsor, or a Modified.

    351C will have eight bolts in the valve covers. Casting numbers are located behind the starter. It could also be a 351M.

    Maybe he is talking about a oil slinger that bolts up on the cam.... No you don't have to have it.
