    Their is a big differenc between the mechanics and the sevice advisors. Service advisors are usully clueless and need you to explain things eight times and they still dont get it. The shop mechanics will finish your sentence before you know how to ask it.

    Id check the fluids and definately get some Lucas upper cylinder lubricant and run a good tank of gas. Drive it easy and feel if the tires have flat spots. If they do, go to a remote culdisac and do seven circles one way then do seven circles the other way. That will help get the tires get back...

    Why do IAC's go bad. This is a real common prob for the modulars. Is it oil from the pcv valve? i have already done the oil separator, so am i safe?

    i wonder if American Muscle buys slightly flawed products and sells them cheaper. As far as i know Accufab is suppsed to be the top of the industry in the TB and plenum area for the 4.6.

    ive heard that and ameture p/p job on modular heads can hurt you. It messes up flow and velocity.

    Haha, what is up with this prob. Mine had a small ex. leak too. Its the steel flange hitting those dowels thats not letting you tighten the pipe to the header all the way.

    Police Crown Vics do it. As its shifting it will give off a high pitch screetch from under the hood. CV's do it because their pulley system is overdriven. It has to do with accesory speed and crank shaft speed. When the rpm's go down during a WOT shift the accesories still have all that momentum...

    Probaly the worst tech thread ever.

    there are these wierd thin little washers on the back side of those nuts that sometimes dont stay with the nut. That will make it super difficult to take them off. I hit the stud a few good times with a hammer. didnt hurt anything at all.
