    I've just gone to rear tires larger than front I've just done this in the past week, traded my 245/45 17's (stock rims) for 255/40s in the front and 275/40s in the rear. While that's smaller than what you guys are running, It was suggested on this forum to go no larger than that on stock...

    "screwed up," I guess.. Well, what can I say 'cept, "I screwed up again!" Of course, 30% looks fairly dark on cloudy days, but it's when the sun comes out and you really neeed the tint, that it looks too light and you can really see right thru it! Live and learn, I guess.... :damnit:

    Went with 30% since that's the "legal limit" in this state and the shop guy kinda implied is should go with that. Should've gone with 20%, would have been darker and better, and I don't know of many drivers being ticketed up here for "too darkly tinted windows." I don't think it's "that...

    They're ZR rated, and I got a pretty durned good buy, methinks... Just thought I'd add as a closing post in this thread that these new Falken ZIEX's are ZR speed rated. Also, the 255/40s were $127.13 a piece and the 275/40s were $158.98 for a total "out-the-door" mounted, stems, spin...

    Got em on there. Okay, I went and did it. 255/40s up front and 275/40s out back on the stock 17 inch rims. Like one of you said, above, there is more sidewall bulge with the 275s on the stock 17" rims, but it doesn't look that bad to me at all---maybe it's the sidewall design of these tires...

    Puff of blue smoke at start up is gone now

    Mine doesn't burn much at all that I can tell.... Even with the "puff of blue smoke" present, I couldn't see much, if any, decrease on the ol' dip stick between changes, but the "blue smoke" bothered me just the same so I'm glad to (apparently) be rid of it....

    I was using Pennzoil 5W20 in my '01 Cobra as per the wgt. specified by Ford and was occasionally getting a visible cloud of blue smoke at start up. At the last oil change, I switched to 5W30 full synthetic and, guess what--no more blue smoke ever since! :D

    couldn't do it! I tried driving my '97 GT in the snow once and it had way less power than my Cobra. I got down to the end of my driveway and was stuck, spinnin', and could go no where, and that was that! :notnice:

    Got it out!!! okay, okay, many thanx you guys. I got it out by pressing Eject and inserting a credit card and gently pushing down---it ejected right away...Didn't take much time or effort at all when I did that! Thanks again for the suggestions---next time I'll know what to do. :nice:

    I've got an '01 Cobra with the stock AM/FM CD changer. There's a CD in it now that won't eject. No matter what button I push, play or eject, it won't do it and I get this "CD Error" message before the digital read out goes back to radio. What needs to be done here? :shrug:

    "Dino Oil?" (what is it?)

    S'cuse my ignorance, but whenever I surf these various forums on motor oil, they talk about "dino oil," but don't define the term. Is this just regular "parafin based" motor oil or is it a another name for synthetic blend? :shrug:
