So, no one's clear with me.. (emissions)

You will fail the visual, they check that before they do the OBDII scan.

Best (or the top few) NON-Adjustable struts/shocks

Koni Red's are single adjustable fronts - best of both worlds. That's what my 86 Saleen had.

    Car meet 2/26

Sure, I'll take my car out of winter storage and get it all salted up for this. I see enough of the import assclowns on the road, I don't need to go to an Uncle Bennie's Rice-a-Roni party to meet them in person. I went to one of the mustang meets up there a few years ago. Pretty...

    Driveshaft shop in central/so Jersey

Bill, I had the driveshaft for the Daytona shortened/balanced by a shop in Bound Brook. Not exactly the area you are looking for, but they did a nice job on mine.

Roush Is this saleen worth less because of the mods?

The white one and green one both have dash and under hood plaques if you look very closely. Doesn't necessarily make them real Saleens... You'd need the vins and bumper numbers to tell from the book or you'd have to call Liz.

    Roush Lizstick??

There is no paint code. Saleen custom mixes the paint and they won't give the mix out to anyone unless you have a verified Saleen that is already that color.

    Roush Recall On Saleen Wheels??

I had my silver wheels replaced by Saleen since they had cracks in the powercoat on 3 out of 4. I paid the difference and 'upgraded' to the chromes. Big mistake... the finish on them is crap. Call Saleen and ask for the warranty department. They exchanged mine even though the warranty was...

    Roush Heatexchanger

Are you talking about replacing the intercooler-radiator that's under the front fascia or the intercooler that is under the intake manifold? I'd be skeptical of 38 hp from an X pipe, CAI and a radiator change. Gotta be something else going on...

    Roush saleen suspension question

Not odd if you assume (as I'm guessing they do) that the suspension is optomized and doesn't need any more adjustment. Like you mentioned, then they'd have to add more $$$ to the price for something that they view most people don't need. Same argument as to why Ford doesn't include them - 99%...

    Roush saleen suspension question

No CC plates, not sure about what 'grade' bilsteins they are. Srpings are Eibachs, I think the pro kit. Upgraded front sway bar, not sure who makes it. Rear suspension is stock other than springs/shocks. MM panhard bar will not clear the Borla exhaust or so I've read in numerous places...

    Driving schools(road racing)?

pdadrivingschool.com - I ran Pocono north with them 3 years ago, probably going back up later this year once the Daytona is back together.

Nice colors you would consider painting your mustang.

I don't remember, but I think that 2nd car might be Rio Red? CRS syndrome, happens when you get over 40  I have pictures of almost every car that was at that show as well as the MCA in Fairfax Virginia the previous year. Some nice toys at the shows, got Steve to sign my car, etc...

    Roush Picture anyone?

Too cold in CO... besides, I already have enough cars that need to be washed, I don't need to make a trip to CO just to wash cars  If Stu brings the 84's to a show again this year, I may try to make it just to see them. BTW, don't look in your trunk. That's where Jimmy Hoffa is...

Nice colors you would consider painting your mustang.

From what I remember (and I could be wrong...) there were 4? cars used for the movie. 2 were crushed, 1 went back to Saleen (probably the E car you refer to) and 1 was sold by the movie studio on Ebay. My friend bought the one that was on Ebay, it is not a numbered Saleen, but it has all the...

The only other pictures I have of the 2F2F car is this one that has us lined up in front of Saleen Mike's old house before we went to the Saleen Club of America National Show #1 at Performance Autosport in 2003... my 86 was on right end... shoulda kept that one... Here is another shot...

    Roush Picture anyone?

Actually, I thought it was MustangEd's car :D I'd *almost* bet money that: 1) The last time it was *really* washed was July of 2003 when *I* washed it. 2) That was also the last time the bottom of the trunk was seen 3) I also doubt the wheels have seen a cleaning towel since July...

    Roush My New 2006 SC-281 #202

Nice, very rare to see the white/blue/white combo. I'm probably going to order a white/blue S331 Sport Truck later this year... :nice:

    Roush Picture anyone?

Assuming you mean the 99+ style? I believe the white wheels were only available from Saleen on the white cars. I've never seen a blue one with the white wheels. Doesn't mean one doesn't exist though.... I probably have pictures of my bright atlantic blue 99 when it still had...

Nice colors you would consider painting your mustang.

For me, it was wanting a mustang that is different from the others. For me, the Saleens always had a mystique about them. In reality, most of them don't live up to it, but that's another long story. I wanted one from the first time I saw the silver 99 press car. It took me 2 years to find...
