    Scott Drake "quality"

Lol, so you got a door to line up, in a thread about Scott Drake parts, when the pics aren't of SD parts. What was the point again ? From the Mustang Forums

Again how far away ? 2nd pic down, passenger side, the top body line at the front of the door to the fender. That is not a nice line at all. Even from that distance you can see that. Hows about I show you pics of my welds from the same distance and see if you can tell the difference...

I know we've talked. I was also a dealer. You don't think all those problems came from one car did you ? And you think between this forum and the other with all the problems posted by others, think that people will believe you have never had any of these problems ? Even 2+2GT here has seen...

Anyone with a Master Power Brake Booster and Hydraulic Clutch

On a 65-66 I got it to work. This is when they would come with aluminum master cyl's. The pin at the bottom would barely hit the master cyl from the hyd clutch master cly. So I took the bottom pin and cotter pin out and shortened it and weld it in to clear. It worked fine. But now those boosters...

I agree. Problem is, I would pay 4 times the amount, and prefer to make nothing on the part if I could get quality parts. And I mean make nothing. The part cost me much more having to replace it than the measly 100 bucks it cost me. When a suspension part goes out, it's another part, plus labor...

Not everything sucks. But I'll be damned if I loose anymore money figuring it out. Hope you didn't by repop hood hinges. Those things are disgusting. Have a customer who goes to shows a lot. Opens the hood all the time. His lasted 8 months

    Review On Broader Performance

Huh, wonder what happened to them. Jay used to sell trans-go, and what I used. I had good luck with it after I found I forgot to put one spring back in when converting it to manual lol. After that it was fine. :rlaugh:

Anyone with a Master Power Brake Booster and Hydraulic Clutch

Yep, I have fit it before with some work. Need to take apart the master though and clean out the chrome chips inside though.

I have had one guy tell me he's never had a problem with their stuff. But I guarantee he had brown eyes from being full of..... Believe me, it's not that strange. It's more strange that someone feels differently. Every local vendor I have spoke to feels the same way. But as I would expect...

IDK, some parts are nice for sure. But the percentage of nicer over what I can use is not worth the squeeze. Do cars in volume, and have your paycheck depend on it and you may feel differently. I'm not comparing their parts to others. I'm comparing them to what they SHOULD be.

I have thousands of dollars worth of parts I am no longer willing to sell. Either from having to replace it on a customer cars for free, or listen to people complain to me about it. I called and spoke to their sales manager who told I couldn't return the stuff because "they aren't a Walmart." I...

    CSRP Disc Brake Swap Problem

This is normal with a small bore MC found in manual brakes. It take more travel to give the disc's the volume they need to create pressure. you find the bigger bore MC in power systems. They will travel less, but be MUCH harder to get the car to stop. That's why they are on power systems. You...

Bad idle at leaner AFR with holley

What did he say that makes you say that ? I don't think I've ever gotten a carb'd car to idle at stoich. Might be able to do it with a stick. But will more than likely surge at a light cruise. A cam and auto you can pretty much expect 12.5 to be what the engine will want, and have good tip in.

    Drag guys! Shelby drop??

The more HP you have, the less weight you need to transfer. Just call opentracker and get the roller bearing mods. Fix the ones you have with good parts. Just a thought.

    Drag guys! Shelby drop??

LOL @ Chinese junk. I just canceled my account with the "largest" parts manufacturer because of that. Sooooo tired of junk. Either of those is much better. Have sold tons of both, only one problem with one and they sent out the replacement no problem. Skip the drop

Complete floor assembly (full floor pan all the way to the trunk)

Not not but hell no. The bigger the piece, the worse it fits. Not to mention how heavy and bulky that thing is. The fitting and tweaking, you'll need a wrecking ball to tap that thing into place.

Fabricating a stainless efi tank for my 1965 mustang

I haven't tried honestly. But the new ones aren't the same as the originals. Even the "OEM" ones aren't as good. They just don't read right.
