    1 1/2 primaries and 2.25 should do you well. I would not do cast iron, let alone pay more for another set that is barely better. Don't choke those heads with cast iron

    Whaaaaa ? You mean they weren't perfect ? Neither is the underside of the floor at the upper trans tunnel bracing. Those rarely touch in the corners at all on any car. When I say a bad fit, I mean worse than factory, needs to be modified. Like splitting the original tunnel and new one to get it...

    Looks like a nicer piece than what scott drake supplied, and a much more defined trans tunnel. This one had to be split on each side of the tunnel to get it close enough to weld. Iirc, ours wouldn't fit because the headliner was still in it. Feared a tear in it. But I wouldn't worry about a weld...

    Unless you need a trans tunnel, buy the sides instead. MUCH easier to make fit in two pieces. Less work keeping the body from flexing.It didn't fit for me in a 69 fb. That pic only show the back half of the floor. Not one piece.

    That may very well be drop spindle. I don't know by looking at a Gm spindle. But it is higher than the original usually is. How tall are the tires, or what are the sizes up front ?

    Looks like you DON'T have the drop spindles. that is why you had to lower it so much to get it down, and it's sagging. Put the drop spindles on, raise car back up. Who ever sold you the kit should have known that.

    The inside of your spring is hitting the casing. Easiest ugly fix.....take spring back out, cut up antifreeze jug, wrap around case, re-install spring.

    Give Me Traction !

    A torque arm might be your best bet for traction and cornering. Gets rid of the leafs for a system that will articulate without binding and adds traction ta boot.

    Didn't like the experience we had either. Wouldn't prime enough to start first try. Sent it out and they said nothing was wrong. Came back and worked much better but still not right. have an Edelbrock on a 52 chevy here. C how that goes.

    Vic jr's ftmfw. I think he means 205-225 cc heads, not the flow. I would do a 300cfm head if you could. A vic jr with a little work will do 300+ without getting crazy. Edelbrock stuff if heli coil-ed alos, and just made from better material than AFR. Either way your total goal will determine...

    ProComp Head problems?

    Guy locally sells the **** out of them. Says 90% have come back with problems including dropping seats in engines. They barely flow over a stock head. For the love of god don't build a short like that and put on that junk. I'd feel safer porting a set of stockers
