I run one of each on both of my 66 coupes and really don't see much of a difference in overall performance (at least on the street). I haven't tried either in a track environment but the few panic stops I've had to make they both worked REALLY well.... I think the '05 and up setup is slightly...
I'm selling a complete Granada disc brake setup that has two piston PBR calipers from a 96 Mustang adapted to the spindles. Bearing, rotors, calipers and hoses have less than 2000 miles on them. This was on my 66 coupe. $300 firm picked up in south Jersey.
They are 65/66 specific, but I have seen old brochures showing a bench option in a 67. Whether or not the frame is the same I don't know...My wife wants a bench in her 66 (of course after I just recovered the buckets...)
None taken, Jersey sucks....
I actually have a pic somewhere on one of my old hard drives of a Probe "dressed up" in a Star Wars theme where to guy used cardboard sheets and rolls to make all the body panels. Not quite as bad as that poor Stang, if that's possible, but up there on WTF list...
You're about an hour away from me. I've been to Budd Lake a few times for work, but haven't been to Island Dragway since I was a child....Good luck with the Stang.
Sounds similar to my wife's and my 66 coupe's. If you have that actually Bullitt wheels you'll need 1"(25mm) bolt on spacers for the front (unless someone makes a 7/8" set) and the same for the stock rear. Actually 3/4"(20mm) spacers would be better in the rear with the 245's. I just put the...
5280/4, I've checked out your site a few times for some future ideas. Love the suspension setup and the R-model front end. How difficult was it to fab up the export brace and monte carlo bar?
65coupe408w, that 60 is a sweet car and she's coming along nicely. Are you in Orlando by chance? Some...
Thanks guys. This is actually my second Falcon sedan. I had a 64 Futura that was my dd for years then decided to start fixing it up. My brother was hounding me about finishing it for years, so I gave it to him as a Christmas present last year. Now it's his problem:p
Latamud, love that wagon...
Just finished a front end rebuild with modified UCS's, Shelby drop, new lowers, roller perches, 12.5" 2006 GT front brakes and a set of Bullitts. I like it, but then again it's mine so of course.... I might lower it another inch though:rolleyes:
