    This is true, but I believe those mounts are from a 78-80 cougar 351w. Im not sure, but I tried mounts from them, and they needed this "spacer" to get them to fit. :shrug: maybe not, but thats what I think.

    Everything I know says they will fit. The only things I can think might be a problem would be the circuit board on the back, you might wanna change that just to be safe. Oh, and Make sure you have the same speedometer 85 or 120 mph, Unless you want to change the speedo gear in the trans...
