    As I recall one was Ceramic and the other was plastic as was determined by the Build date of either October 1st /1965 or January 10th 1965 10/1/65 The first ones were ceramic I have one or two of those in my emblem collection.

    Not on 69's & 70's they don't. there are so many different boosters you can't assume they are the same. 1969 Mustang (except Boss 429) requires a special booster. 69 Bendix Booster is stamped 6586. Ford number C9ZZ-2005-A

    As I stated in your thread on the other site. You need the EXACT booster application. Trying to modify something from a FoX body won't work . Just bite the bullet and order one from Rockauto or have your original rebuilt.

    When I replaced the leaf springs I just had the spring company re-draw them to a higher spec....to which they sat too high.... so I took them back and had them draw them to a slightly lower spec...and now after 20 years they still sit perfect. I had the luxury of having a spring company maker...

    Charging issues

    Have the battery tested. Batteries can develop shorts within the case and can also sulfate after being dormant and become bad within a short time of purchase. They sure don't make them like they did in the 60's ;(

    You only need one starter relay.. Why do you have both hooked up ? Use the one on the starter not the one on the fender.
