    why? just for the hell of it i guess. :shrug: and i don't know what the other thread was like, but i'm not trying to come off as a hater here or a "this is better than that" because i'm just stating my experience with 2 very different cars.

    just that my stock srt dyno'd more than my stock mustang, while trying to confirm what others already mentioned about the "230hp" being underrated, but i don't see what that has to do with 4,000lb chargers and crown vics used as fleet cars?

    maybe you just lucked out but my mustang leaked at the valve covers twice, pinion seal 3 times, transmission pan gasket, rear transmission seal, oil pan wasn't dripping but started to get that wet look, every section of the interior buzzed rattled and squeeked, blew 3-4 gear and lastly a rear...

    that wasn't the point. he said if the 4cyl made 230 "N/A" it would be special, and i was just trying to point out that using the same logic my 4.6 N/A mustang would have needed numbers like 460 hp N/A to be special. and i'd hope you see better numbers on a turbo mustang since you're working with...

    looks sweet. i also did the wing delete and got tired of the plugs. did the grill delete and didn't like it. did the chin spoiler and liked it, just got tired of it bumping into things because my drop was quite a bit lower than yours. and congrats on the car being paid for!

    yes those numbers are rated at the wheels, not the crank. my stock srt4 (neon) dyno'd 230 at the wheels while my heavier stock '02 gt dyno'd 220 to the wheels. will be going stage 4 soon and am expecting 400+ whp no problem. looking at roughly the same kit price for the stage 4 as what i paid...

    don't know if they still need to do this with their new style blowers, but when i ordered my 1.7 i also ordered the larger tb, big tube kit, 90mm meter and the kb cai ... so when they sent me the entire kit it came with a smaller pulley. they claimed that with the better flow into the blower...
