    Mazdaspeed6 or Cobra

    I almost picked the Subaru but since I do all my own work, I've found that even N/A Subaru's can be a pain to work on. Went out looking at a few of the local EVO's but I saw a brand new '05 SRT-4 at $2,500.00 under sticker and couldn't pass it up. I'll be Stage 2 w/full exhaust, intake (etc...)...

    Modified Evo

    Only thing I didn't like about my 4.10's was the way it killed my top end by probably 20-30 MPH, but it did help me run a dead-even race (from a roll) against a Nitrous LS1 F-body. My Kenne Bell helped too. :nice:

    I'd say luck was on your side, plus the fact that you must be a really good driver and they must really suck - I'd say he should have been into the 12's with DR's and turbo upgrade. A '96 GT without too many mods up against a modded EVO should have been a total mismatch...I would think. But nice...

    Don't know - seems like my brother paid exactly $28,355.00 for his brand new loaded '05 GTO [stickered for just a bit over 32k] and when I priced a loaded '05 Mustang GT...it's sticker price was over 31k and the dealer wouldn't budge on the price.

    Not in my world - not even close. Local Ford says the GT500 will be at least 50k with "A.D.P." (Additional Dealer Profit) added, and brand new C6's without being too optioned up (still "stripped" probably has more options than a loaded GT500) are going for 43k to 45k.     Because it takes the SC to get past the 400HP mark, when Dodge and GM are getting it with a N/A engines. I'd like to see 400HP N/A, minimum, because by the time Ford does that (if they ever do) Dodge and GM will probably be at 450HP for their base engines. And Special Build Mustangs should come...

    I gave advice - mine basically fixed itself after I left it alone for several hours. Guess I didn't think that 02GTRX would get so defensive for his solution to the problem. And after mine messed up twice in about 3 months it started working fine for over a year, so I don't really know what...

    Yeah, the alternator is an electrical part and so is the CD unit. Just the only one on this thread...perhaps - I still had my same 6CD Mach 1000 unit when I sold my car. But I have a feeling that if the Expedition would have been out of warranty...it wouldn't have mattered to you. And...

    "Exchanging" Yeah, I'd like to get a police officer's terminology on that exchange. Tires are just a bit more obvious when it comes to being a wear item, but still exchanging a defective CD unit for one that functions nicer doesn't seem right to me. About like trading a 100,000 mile alternator...

    It wasn't your Expedition, so you "stole" it, but you can call it "borrow" if it sounds better. Guess when your tires get slick, you can test drive a Mustang with new tires on it and what the hey...you can put your old tires back on the test driven Mustang and it won't be like you're stealing...

If someone sneaks into your car and steals your cd player...just laugh about it because some good old boy probably just needed to replace his broken Mustang CD player. Maybe he even read...
