    That doesnt sound like too bad of a deal really. You can usually pick up a mustang 3v 4.6 for around $2,500. Then you could just swap out the entire motor and away you go.

    The hood came in today! Looks to be a very good quality piece. One corner was chipped in friehgt, but nothing major. The shop is planning to paint the car tomorrow, so I may get it back friday if things go as planned! I can't wait!

    I always get bug-b-gone at my local mom and pop autoparts store, or at my nearest oriellys. I think wal-mart even carries it. Im sure it's cheaper there, but id rather buy elsewhere :-)

    I would sugest blending. All this mean is that they will scuff your fenders, shoot your hood and the tops of your fenders, and then clear coat the hood and entire fenders. The color will look 100% accurate. Im very picky so I would do it, but then again the front of my car has already been...

    use Bug-B-Gone. It works awesome on about anything. I mix some into my bucket of soapy water to wash my car by hang, or spray it on your car when its dry at the car wash, and then use the hi-pressure. It works great. It also does awesome on dirty wheels that get brake dust on them.

    I think I will keep my stock gt bumper. Once a chin spoiler is painted and added I kinda like the looks of them. I realy havent been able to find an aftermarket front bumper that doesnt look too big.

    Also, my car is only a 2005. So it's not real new. I know insurance will total a vehicle if the repair will cost a certain percentage of the cars value. I cant remember that percentage tho. I would say my estimate is well over 1/3 of the value of my car tho. Just guessing.
