    Using different turbo...

A .60 comes on roughly at 3000 rpm from my recollection. In OD(A4LD speaking) at 3000 rpm I'm already going 120+ kmh (70-75 mph). If boost comes on then, I'm already going very fast. I don't need speeding tickets that much...What I'm looking to obtain here is enhanced drivability. Low psi (like...

    Using different turbo...

Thanks for the heads up. I know the IHI was in use in some of the TC's. My target here is decent increased torque, running low psi on 89 octane. If possible.

    Using different turbo...

I picked up a turbo motor locally for peanuts. Low kms, missing the turbo, manifold cracked, and the ECU. Hence I got it for peanuts... Can I use a IHI RHB5 or T25 -28 instead of the obiquitous T3? My goal here is to make boost at a more usable rpm range like 2500 rpm to 5000 rpm, and...

    alternator light

Check your battery terminals - make sure they are not touching your hood and that they are secure. This sounds like a ground problem to me.

Pulling my hair out after stumbles

Whilst on ebay you may want to look for a replacement 02. I experienced the same issue, and the 02 sensor was still somewhat alive, but was giving incorrect readings. Swappin g out the bugger made driving pleasurable again...

    NA 2.3L performance

Power to weight. If you are looking to make your car into a canyon carver, then I would stay 2.3. With a 52/48 weight distribution its close to ideal for better handling. That's why Ford made the SVO with the 4 cylinder Turbo. 205 hp at 12psi is not shabby. It's also 300 lbs lighter.... If you...

Pulling my hair out after stumbles

    el caro wont starto

Batteries can go south when they are not secure (lead plates shift and break) or get shorted (ie: hood makes contact on terminals). If you replace, make sure to get rubber terminal covers as added protection against accidental shorting.

    Anyone have Performance parts....

Depending on your transmission, make sure if you do go with a cam that your choice is not too radical. Our Speed Density systems don't do well with fairly aggressive grinds. This is especially true with the auto trans as they are sensitive to engine vacuum changes.
