I'm sure you'd get some really funny looks on the highway.

Anybody know how to get rid of the seatbelt safety chime???

I'll give you the issue on the seat belt law. I have no argument for that... I tend to think of it like Darwin and the Evolution of species - maybe we are just forcing the issue a little too much.

    My shimmy thread

Flat spotted tires - the tire is no longer 100% circular due to an elongated skid resulting from too much brake pressure application After you drive the car away (hopefully) from an extended skid like that, it can feel as if the tires are "lumpy." Been there - done that.... To make your...

    Tire Shine overspray/splatter

If you wipe off the excess film or solution there shouldn't be an issue with the dust when using an "Armour All" style liquid. The thick gell or Silicone kind of dressing could possibly attract dust, but I haven't used those kinds in a few years.

    Ford says no way...

Yup - concept only... Possibly to gauge the interest or need for a vehicle similar to the Dodge Magnum by the automotive public at NAIAS.

    My shimmy thread

Yup, sounds like a warped rotor for sure. It only takes one panic stop to put a rotor out of tolerance... Since your car is so new, I'd march back to the dealer and ask that the rotors get turned under warranty.

i got me a new mustang

This will probably get moved to the 05+ talk section... But congratulations on the car. The Autos are not horrible anymore - just a tab bit slower than the manual, but not enough to notice by most people. Also, welcome to :SNSign:

    Ford says no way...

But there is a Lincoln coupe coming in the future. I think I just read about it again in either Autoweek or Motortrend. So then is the Interceptor concept (that'll be at NAIAS in January) sitting on a prototype mustang chassis?

    Best Car Cover

A good cover can run around $300.00 dollars. It should have multiple layers to ensure no snow or water will bleed through and a nice felt of fleece backing to keep all scratches to a minium. You can hit up google for many different brands Also, Ford has a cover available as an accessory...

Tomorrow's going to be so hard...

That is awful news. Especially given the time of year....

    Ford says no way...

I just read over on thecarconnection that there will be a 4 door wagon (5 door I guess) concept displayed at the Detroit Auto Show this year. It'll be based off the Mustang platform, but it's nicknamed the interceptor....

Next Gen Stang to include 4 doors/wagon variants?

Agreed - their is a need for both style of cars. Especially once the Crown Vic dies out... Build it off the Mustang platform, heck use all of the Mustang parts but do NOT put the name Mustang on the decklid.

    2005-07 Engine

Ford hasn't even done an acceptable job of advertising their cars or trucks... It's a little too picky to worry about the engines. (sorry - i couldn't resist and I know you know all about the bold moves flop)

better traction, rear wheels, and ETC

Just an aside here: Don't forget the Tire Pressure Monitoring sensors on your stock wheels will need to be transfered over to the larger diameter rims. This will require that you purchase new straps from your dealer (or online) and making sure the sensors are not discarded for the swap...
