    The angled bezel just mounts to the back of the gauges doesn't it? I loved having my gauges below the radio. They were easy to see when I would take a glance, but they are also not in your face 100% of the time while you drive.

    What about the stock alternator? Or the convertible header bar - it seals against the top part of the windshield and is horribly designed? The stock T-5 tranny that was rated at 300 ft-lbs of torque when the 5.0L motor was generating that much?

    Either a Miss or Bad gas? (but that is just a guess) Look up JRichkers post on how to pull codes though and run the diagnotics to let the computer check all of the sensors. You don't need a scanner, just a paperclip and about 5 minutes in your driveway to run the codes.

    Great story... Too bad for the kid though, because he'll never live that "rag in the supercharger" story down. We all do dumb things once in a while, but this should just show most of us the importance of taking it slow when working with expesnive toys. I can think of a few more...

    Yeah, opening up the hood would let in larger amounts of water and debris that could ruin some of the wiring or damage the electrical components where the water gets to.

    +1 or :stupid: The 2005+ draws intake air from the fender well on the drivers side of the car. The hood scoop is only a decorative piece and has zero functionality. The last car that used a "hood scoop" was the 03/04 Mach 1's.

    There should be no debate.. Regardless of your rights as a citizen in the United States, the simple fact is that a Seatbelt will save your life.

    V-6 is 210 - I'm pretty sure of it. If you did H/C/I on hte 3V motor you'd be pushing around 330 - 340 I would think. Their biggest restriction in the intake port so by opening that up.....

    There is nothing wrong with correctly turning off the chime, and still wearing your seatbelt. I had the dealer disable the seat belt chime on my Liberty because it would go off even when you were in park.

    What good is 1000HP a car if your chassis twists in half? When you build a house do you put the structure on a mound of dirt only? What about an airplane? Ducttape a old rolls royce merlin V-12 to the airframe?
