    My 5-spd Mach 1 has gotten as high as 28 mpg on a long road trip on the interstates, mainly in 5th gear (overdrive) maintaining a reasonable speed of about 60 mph. Around town, don't really know, but it's considerably less, since I've always got my foot in it, LOL!

    My best stock runs were accomplished by just slipping the clutch out easy, just like I would do on the street pulling away from a stoplight or a stop sign, then nailing it. Anything more than that, and the Goodyears would spin really bad! I have to give alot of credit to the track...

    Dyno numbers look about right for a stock Mach 1. You need to work on your launch at the track though. Get that 60' down to a 2.0, and you should be in the low 13's and a couple of mph faster in the traps! :nice:

    Unless you have some serious engine work done or some type of forced induction, the Mach 1's power band drops off after 6k, so taking it out much past that is just a waste of time.

    Not to nit-pick, but the weight difference is about 160lbs. The Bullitt weighs in at 3273lbs, while the GT 5spd tipped the scale at just 3113lbs.
