    Getting 4.10s soon...expectations?

4.10's FTMFW!!! I was going to get 3.73's instead and I am sooooo glad that I got the 4.10's instead. I would have been very disappointed in those after gettin the 4.10's installed. At the track...huge difference. I have to get more seat time with the gears, but it definitely a completely...

    exhaust

Yea I understand that. I was going to get an o/r x-pipe but I got a great deal on the h. I'm probably going to be switching to Magnapacks eventually.

    exhaust

Yea like others have said, the flowmasters do sound good and with an o/r h-pipe they do give it that old "muscle car" sound if you will. Just with 4.10's and on the highway, they drone like a bitch which is why I am looking at getting rid of mine. If you what to check it out, I have a link...

    First trip with the gears

Thanks. When I had the gears put in I had the rear rebuilt. The only things left that have over 73,000 miles on them are the axles and diff. Just waiting for those to break I guess.:D Thanks man. I still don't have all the bolt-ons yet. I'm still missing Longtube headers and UDP's. :nice:

    First trip with the gears

I see you have 4.10's. You need to get some drag radials. I'm running Mickey Thompsons ET Street DR's. For the 1.70 60' I just took it up to 4500rpms and slipped the clutch. It didn't spin at all. Next time I go I'm going to try to take it to 5,000 rpms for the launch.

    First trip with the gears

Went to the local track last Friday (10/30) to see how I would do with the 4.10's in the rear now. I can definitely say that the car gets out of the hole a TON faster now. My best 60' of the night was a 1.70. However, what I didn't expect is how fast I was going to end up shifting throughout the...

    New Car!! (non-mustang warning)

Thanks for the compliments everyone! lol. guess thats just another rule i'm probably gonna break then. still undecided as to how far I want to dive into this car since it is just my daily driver. Right now it has 20% tint and a aftermarket rear motor mount will probably be coming soon...

    New Car!! (non-mustang warning)

Thanks I appreciate it. I've driven 2 different mustangs through 5 years of snow. . .2 of which I had dedicated summer performance tires on it. Plus, if it gets to the point where I need to worry about my tires for the snow. . .I'll steal the Jeep from my wife :D

    Back from the track

Same tires I run on 15x8 rims. I love them.

    Back from the track

O damn. Yea there would be your problem. Get some nice drag radials on that thing and see what she pulls then.
