    For right now, the plan is just to get it street-able. I know the T-bird 5.0 is different, I'm hoping that for right now it will help a little with gas. The plan is to drive this while I work on my 300zx then when that is finished switch up and upgrade the crap out of this one.

    Well I don't have a 5.0 mustang as a donor car. This engine is coming out of a 91 T-bird. I wasn't trying to be retarded, I just wasn't sure how large a problem it would be. I didn't know if it would be like "Damn this thing is heavy" or " OH S**T JUMP OUT!!!"

    If your starter is running unusually high resistance and generating a lot of heat that could explain it too. Maybe check the connections to the starter motor.
