    I take it that you are a government employee of some sort? Yes TSP is just like a 401k only the majority of civilian 401k plans the employers will match the workers amount put into the 401k up to a certain percentage. I have TSP too, not to bad of a program really. I guess I am old school...

    Don't bother with a Plenum and Throttle body unless your planning to go FI because you won't see much gains from it. And you are correct that shorty headers do not give much gains, people see good gains with long tubes but it is alot of work to get them on and you said you don't want them...

    I get the same crap all over the place. Alot of Lincoln LS and 4x4 trucks always trying to race, funny thing is that I don't race on the street so I hope one day I see someone trying to race me from a stop light and then a cop busts them. That will make my day.

    That is def. the most important thing right there. Don't want to have a SCT tuner and then go try to get tuned at the best shop in the area and the use Diablosport.

    I don't mean to make it seem like it is a bad deal but for $2,000 more you can get one with 60,000 less miles, that seems worth the extra money to me.

    IMO I would say no, I have seen plenty of 03 Cobras with 40,000 miles or so for 18,000-21,000. I also would prefer not to buy one with alot of mods already on the car, but maybe thats just me. Now if you can talk him down to around 15,000 or 15,500 then maybe but that is alot of miles for a 03...

    Yeah you are right, but there are plenty of parts available for 2V's out there. But def. not as much as the engine platforms.

    Yeah it's always lacked 4.6 2V articles that were any good, seems to be mainly 5.0 and 3V for the longest time now. I guess us 2V guys just got the short end of the stick on the magazine coverage. Oh well I would rather read on this and many other Mustang Forums to get real world unbiased...

    Alot of people have had there IAC go out, but usually it can be cleaned or a replacement from Ford (no one seems to have luck with Autozone brand IAC) will fix it and it's no big issue.

    Exactly, it really depends on who you have the loan through. Just call them first and verify that it will be ok to do that because if you don't have sufficient insurance on it for them they will try to shaft you with there insurance at very high rates.
