Maybe there was another problem, like say some kind of gasket leak, and by tearing it back down you fixed whatever the problem was............
No thats unpossible........
lol
I work on cars for a living, leaving that off of your engine did not cause your problem.
Could be a bad master cylinder, a bad caliper, or a bad wheel cylinder in the drums. Take off the wheels and look for leaks. If you dont find any it probably just has a bad master cylinder.
Try www.foxmustangrestoration.com, 50resto, or ebay for your fog light.
I have thought about putting a hydraulic clutch on my car, but I'm kind of tired of fox mustangs so I cant justify the money or effort to do it lol.
I made a cai out of pvc a while back and ended up ditching it and going with a C&L elbow and a stock air box. The pvc started to sag from the heat.
Beast I know you've already painted it, but I think it'll really pay off if you spend some time smoothing down the big humps on the ends of the...
How many miles are on the engine? With older motors its almost pointless to change the rear main seal, because the new ones will start leaking in a matter of months anyway. The bearings in the engine wear out causing the crank to sag and wear the main seals into ovals.
Thats on the low side of where I figured you'd be. Dont bother going 17-18 degrees timing, you will probably lose power. I've never seen a bolt on 5.0 make power with more than 16 degree timing.
You might see 10-15 rwhp with a better intake but you may actually sacrifice bottom end and torque...

I have a C&L elbow that I like. I think its 90mm but its kind of pricy.
How do you figure? Fords bottom of the line v8 mustang vs GM's bottom of the line v8 camaro. Seems fair to me, you obviously got more for your dollar with the mustang back then. Also the TPI 305 would not run with the mustang anyway, it was the 350 tpi with the auto trans that would run with it...
If you're real good you can press the bearings on before putting the cluster in. I've done it once, and the transmission builder at my shop only does it that way on t5s.
I don't have a boat but I have an artic cat wetbike. Its like a cross between a jet ski and a motorcycle. Its not warm out today, but it has been warm enough to go out to the lake a few times already.
I have the seat off it here. I just rebuilt the carbs and fuel pump today so hopefully this...
I agree with mustang5l5 however, fordfuelinjection.com sells something that plugs in where the egr valve did to tell the computer the egr valve is pretty much permanently shut. This isn't the best way of fooling the computer but it does work.
