I may have a lead on a cheap Mark VIII fan. I dont have the money to upgrade the alternator right now and was wondering if it is at all possible to run this fan with the stock alternator? Thanks.
Yep its normal, this is my car when it was running last month, it was all of 10 degrees outside! In the picture it was only smoking out of the drivers side tailpipe. Totally normal, especially considering it has a fresh motor!
I have that exact same setup, except I have the street intake. Its a daily driver with gears to answer the question, the difference is the street should provide more low end torque for driveability. The track heat is more designed for higher RPM use.
Sure would, I am building my motor when I am home for Srping break. I am doing Twisted Wedge heads, street heat intake, 24 lb injecors, 76 mm mass air, 70 mm throttle body and a TFS stage 1 cam. Should be a nice combo for a budget build!
Sounds like a good list you have, I really dont have anything to add, but where in Dayton are you from? I am in Centerville, but at UC during the week.
Just take it off and run a shorter belt, be sure to plug the line to the back of the heads and all other vacuum connections. Also remember that you have to plug the connection in the Hpipe too!
