    Trouble Hitting 3rd Gear

    I went with the Barton and solved that problem. Its a bit notchy when you first use it but gets better with about a week's worth of use. NVH is up a little bit in the interior space, but that was advised and to be expected. Hope this helps.

    Drivetrain Is The Manual Transmission Reliable?

    I've got a 12 GT now too and the 1-2 shift at the redline is such a pain! I've upgraded to the Barton short throw and bracket and its made shifting more precise. 2-3 is no longer an issue and it cleaned up the sloppiness of the stock unit. Still need to nail the important one though.

Second, I noticed mine does about 30mpg cruising a flat backroad at around 50mph or so. Also have 3:31s and the manual trans, which makes a difference I'm sure over the 3:73's...
