    I have yet to see a shop that charges the same for vinyl and cloth. For those considering it check your local trim shops on price, with that being said when mine needs replaced I am going cloth.

    I need some opinions on the vortech s-trim against the sq-trim.

    My t-trim is very loud outside the car but with the radio on I dont really notice it inside the cabin, and not at all when the top is down unless at a stop. Certainly noticeable to everyone else. As if a bright red mustang convertible needed anything else for people to look at :)

    The cammer motor is a rip-off, 15K is nuts. You could build a bad ass 2V for 10K and have 5K left for the blower.

    A convertible will have less rigidity and if pushed hard wont handle as well as a coupe. However for 90% of people a convertible will be able handle fine. If it doesnt stock, add some full lenght sub frames and some other suspension goodies. But for value, check www.kbb.com or www.edmunds.com...

    I agree, you can find Blown 96-98 Cobra for that much. Honestly if it was in perfect condition I would pay 10K for it, generally mods no matter what they are dont add value.

    I have the PP combo, I also had to drill out the hole for the throttle cable but any idiot can do that in a minute. Both are quality pieces, no idle issues, etc. I would definatly recommend it.

    I know you wanted one in perfect shape, but if its your DD its going to get scratched, dinged, or something eventually. Its hard to find a perfect car, let alone for under 10K. I wouldnt have let a few small cosmetic things force you to get V6. Id much rather drive a V8 with a few scratches...
